  Just steps from Spouting Horn and Botanical gardens. Easy access to Poipu Beach and resort beaches of South Shore. Near Kukui Ula shops and easy drive to Koloa for more shopping, including groceries. Our gathering of six adults and three children enjoyed every minute, whether watching whales at home or traveling west to Salt Pond Beach and North to Hanalei. Home is clean and family-friendly in an oceanfront community of beautiful homes. Well-equipped kitchen for inspired cooks in our crowd. The cottage - and its own lanai - provides a pleasant private at-home getaway for two. Runners and walkers in our group made much use of Lawai Rd., sometimes even walking to Poipu and resort beaches. Highly recommend.

  Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home - driving there from the airport was easy with the directions you provided. We arrived in the early afternoon and immediately relaxed on your back patio (Lanai) the views were never the same - we actually saw whales from our seats that very first evening and nearly every day after that. the house was clean and wel stocked with cooking utensils and even some miscellaneous cooking items we hadn't picked up from the Market . We had three couples and it was more than perfect - we walked out to the sprouting horn every morning and even when we had an unexpected rain storm the comfort of your home made just sitting around watching the rain and reading ( and sipping wine) so relaxing. We will definitely be back - thank you for sharing your home - it is obvious it has a lot of TLC and pride of ownership.

  My husband and I stayed here along with our grown children and my mother. There were nine of us. It was the perfect place. We could see the ocean from just about every room in the house, as well as from the guest house. We saw a seal and whales on many different occasions. Being a little away from town, made it peaceful. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Everything was very clean and well stocked. It was tastefully decorated with artwork - the owner of the house was the artist! The fresh, beautiful flowers on the dining room table when we arrived was an extra touch that was very homey and made us feel welcome right away. The only word of caution would be that the waves are quite loud in the evening. I found it soothing, but not everyone did. But, that just meant we were in a great location!

  We rented this for a family vacation and expectations were exceeded by this lovely property. It has plenty of room for up to 8 adults and is immaculately clean and well decorated. It feels like a loved family home and is exceptionally comfy and uncluttered. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. 2 ground floor bedrooms will accommodate people who cannot climb stairs. The highlight, of course, is the view and water front location. We watched turtles and whales from the lanai and went tide-pooling on the lava rock beach in front of the home. There is an excellent snorkeling beach within walking distance. A highlight of our trip was the National Tropical Botanical Gardens just across the street! We would stay here again without hesitation.

  We just spent 10 days at this house with three other couples. We all had great rooms with view of the ocean and crashing waves. You can sit on the Lanai and watch sea turtles. We did this every evening during pupu's and dinner. Saved a lot of money by buying great food and wine at the local shops and preparing it ourselves. The botanical garden across the street is free and incredible. We won't forget the short walk to spouting horn and the harbor beach either. This place at this price is truly a bargain.
