  We loved this beach house! It is in a fantastic location as we love the Point West area and this house is very close to the beach. It is beautiful and comfortable on the inside with everything you need. And the hammock, porch chairs, extra beach chairs, etc. are all very nice to have. We chose this house because of location, look, and also because we could bring our dog! The owners are super nice and very friendly to work with. They provide many friendly tips before you arrive which come in quite handy. I would definitely recommend this beach house to others and we definitely plan to go back and stay there again!

  We all spent a wonderful weekend, in January, at a wonderful beachhouse condo on Galveston Island. The weather was chilly at night, but not enough to stop us from enjoying a great family outing. The sun warmed up wonderfully during the day and we all taking turns going on great walks to the nearby beach. It was well within walking distance and you could hear the ocean sounds from the condo from any window or the patio. We came away with just one desire and that was that if it was so nice in January, then it would certainly be even more wonderful in the summer months. Will certainly keep it in mind.

  We had a terrific time! The house is very comfortable and the location is excellent. Easy to get to, and not really far from Galveston. The pet friendliness was great... our dogs loved it! The beach is close enough for short or long visits, and if you forgot something, the walk back to the house is easy and fast. This is a great place for a week or a weekend. My wife and I would recommend it to anyone. We hope to go back in the summer for a vacation!

  This is a great play to get away from everything! I simply wanted a break, and this was a perfect place. It was very quiet in the fall season and that was just perfect! I brought my dog and she loved the place, too. We walked up and down the beach, some days we were completely alone, making the only tracks visible on the beach, and other days we met friendly people who were beach combing, surfing, para-surfing, and swimming. The beach was very clean and quickly accessible. I loved to cook and this place has a great set-up. I got fresh seafood from nearby shops (Alex's or Seven Seas) and had a blast with all sorts of treatments, including using the fabulous grill/brazier combo for bar-b-q. I joked that this was a 7-day shrimp festival. I cooked it in almost every way possible: scampi, butterflied an fried, barbecued, prima vera, enchilads, tacos, fajitas, and more! I enjoyed especially watching the wildlife. Each day some new birds found the pond in back. I watched them from the decks and usually ate meals outside as well. I did enjoy the hammock chair on the deck. We also tracked down lots of sand crabs and hermit crabs. "Las Brisas" or breezes is right! I typically opened the house up and just let the wind blow through the house. I enjoyed sea breezes and land breezes both. We made it a habit to check out each sunset on the beach. Very different looking almost every day. This trip was for rest, so I didn't need many activities, but we did watch the beach daily. We enjoyed the bay-side as well. We participated in community activities, including crab catching. We didn't check it out but we had access to the pool and other amenities at the club house. This place was awesome even for just me and the dog alone, but it would sleep many very comfortably. There are three bedrooms, two with traditional bedding and the third with bunk beds for lots of kids. We were able to find several nearby churches and chose one to attend Sunday. Navigation in the area is super simple.

• Perfect Rental Property!

  This was our first visit to Galveston so I was clueless where to rent. This property was perfect in so many ways! First, the home is very well maintained, clean, and the owners had thought of everything a guest would need while staying there. There is one bedroom on the middle floor and a bathroom, not connected. The kitchen and living room are on the middle floor too. Then there is a bedroom with 2 bunk beds (really nice beds!) with a connecting bathroom, and a master with connecting bathroom all on the third floor. The beach entrance from the house is over a small bridge (all of Galveston is like this) and was just a few houses down. It took us 5 minutes to walk out the front door to the beach! We never made it to the community center because we were having so much fun on the beach. The beach and community were very clean in this area as well. It took us about 20-30 minutes to get down the peninsula to the home, but the drive next to the water made the time fly. There were gas stations close to the home as well, maybe 5 minutes away. The owners were great at communicating with us and answered emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. They were accessible at all times during our stay. This is going to be our new annual vacation while staying here! I would absolutely recommend this beach, this house, and these owners to family and friends!

  My family and I had a great time. Loved having the beach chairs and grill available. The "new" beach toys were fun for the kids too. We loved the porches and hope to stay on the property again. Thanks for a fun time.

  Our trip from Dallas to visit Pointe West was just perfect! This exclusive community was fabulous with the beach club/pool, clean beaches, and very nice commuity! This Beach House couldn't have been more perfect for us! We enjoyed it so much we are looking to go back again next year. Thanks Maggie for having such a great home for us to stay in and enjoy! Until next year:-)

  We had such a great weekend! The house was lovely, well maintained, very clean, and in such a great location -- we had very easy access to the beach and a very short drive to the beach club pools. It is located about 20 to 30 minutes from the busier sections of Galveston so there is a drive to get to The Strand, Moody Gardens, restaurants, & other attractions, but this location is ideal if your primary purpose is to spend a weekend or a week on the beach. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives who are looking for a quiet but very family/kid-friendly beach house.

  We stayed here for a long weekend. There were 9 of us in our party, including 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids under 6. We all had a wonderful time. The house had plenty of room for us all. We were very close to the beach,only four houses away from the crossover. We are already planning our trip for next summer.

  We had a BLAST at the beach house. It was beautiful and had plenty of room for all 9 of us!!! The beach was a quick 2 minute walk and you could sit on the beautiful porch, look out over the bay and feel the incredible breeze off the ocean. So peaceful and relaxing!!! The pool was just up the road and everything you need is right at your fingertips. You won't find a better place on the island for a great family getaway. The house was stocked withthe essentials including games, wifi, DVDs and more. Stop looking - this is the place!!!
