We rented this property via Berkeley Springs Cottage Rental for Christmas and had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotlessly clean, there was a bundle of wood waiting next to the fireplace, and the views from the chalet windows of the woods were fantastic. Wifi was extremely fast and while we didn't really watch TV, the house had about every cable channel imaginable available, including HBO, Showtime, etc. Prospective renters should note that the master bedroom is in the loft and it is open to the great room below, but that wasn't really a problem for us. The other 2 bedrooms are on the main floor and are closed off to the rest of the space. Kitchen could use some updated utensils and pans, but I was able to cook 2 really great dinners with what was there. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

About the owner: We are retired U.S. diplomats and love nature, hiking and swimming. We fell in love with Treetop for its marvelous light and 'in the woods' quality.

Treetop is very private yet a few minutes from a spa, pools, tennis and golf as well as 22,000 acres of nature for hiking in the Sleepy Creek State Park. Park is full of fairy like water falls and nooks.
