We stayed in this lovely villa for three months in the winter. Everything was fresh and clean, clean, clean. Bobbie and Jack are gracious hosts and, because the property was in excellent condition, we rarely had to contact them. If we did have a question or concern, it was addressed immediately. The private patio makes for a serene environment as you enjoy the AZ climate. We appreciated the high-end sheets, fluffy towels, and a kitchen with all the necessary cooking tools. There is room in the nice sized kitchen to set up your computer and "office". As for the development, it is one of the nicer ones in Sun Lakes and the pool and clubhouse are inviting. The golf course is in good shape and there are often lessons for a very minor fee. If you like tennis, this is the place. The area abounds with shopping, restaurants, farmer's markets, hiking and/or walking trails, and festivals. If not enough-go to Scottsdale and Phoenix for even more! You can take the train from Mesa if you don't want to drive. Buy tickets at the nearby Walgreen's. Finally, The Phoenix symphony is superb. Be sure to take in a show or two. We hope to return to this rental someday.Recommended for: Age 55+.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: My husband is a retired financial advisor and I am a retired registered nurse. We are avid tennis and bridge players.
Why the Owner Chose Sun Lakes:
We purchased this villa for when we are ready to live more simply and easily without yard work, upkeep, etc. We currently live in Oakwood in a 2800 square foot home and someday the maintenance will be too much for us and we're going to want to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Our property is quiet and serene. When you look out to the patio there is a sense of calm with complete privacy.
