township beaches). Sleeps up to eight--perfect for family getaway. Spend the summer days swimming, sunning, or strolling along the shore, or head
for antique shops, wineries, galleries in New Buffalo, Indiana Dunes or Michigan City Outlet Mall. Visit area
antique shops, farmer's markets, fruit stands, garden centers, pizza parlors. Make homemade feast or go to the Red Arrow
Roadhouse, Blue Plate Cafe or Oink's for fun and casual dining. Or, maybe just relax in
the shade on the huge screened porch---and do nothing.

i had some academic work to do and stayed here during the fall and winter and had the most peaceful, wonderful time. i took walks everyday down to the lake and around the neighborhood which is quiet and safe. really lovely. thank you EliotDid you find this review helpful? About the owner: I have 5 children and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. I love to travel, read, swim, play tennis, play cards and just enjoy life.
Why the Owner Chose Michigan City:
My husband and I chose this place so close to the lake in order to swim and enjoy summers together with our daughters and extended family. It is also a short one hour drive away from our home in Chicago.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There is a large eat-in kitchen so we've had and continue to have many, many wonderful dinners and after swim snacks in the kitchen and patio. It is a gathering place for friends and family.
