THE SPACE: A cozy home away from home, this private Los Feliz (1 bedroom, 1 bath) getaway guest house (with stunning hillside views and sunsets) looks and feels like you're in the woods. Located in the hippest part of Los Angeles, it's 5-10 minutes away from an assortment of distinguished attractions. From the Greek Theater, the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory (which you can see from the private deck-terrace), to popular movie theaters, restaurants and bars of Silver Lake's Sunset Junction, this newly renovated 800-square foot gem offers you privacy, comfort, and solace.
Nestled in the tranquil Franklin Hills of Los Feliz, this hideaway (which occupies the bottom part of a two-story duplex house) is perfect for a couple or a family group of up to four. The extraordinary view through the sliding glass doors (opening up to a private deck) looks out over Sunset Boulevard for as far as the eye can see offering a 180º view of the Los Feliz Hills and beyond.
The house features a brand new bathroom, desk, kitchen (stocked with necessary appliances for cooking and eating, fresh towels, a brand new cozy tempur-pedic queen size bed (with fresh clean linens and pillows), and a brand new sofa bed-couch (in the living room) facing a 47' flat-screen offering premium cable, HBO, APPLE-TV and NETFLIX.
The space also includes high speed wireless internet, central heating and air-conditioning along with light switch dimmers to customize your lighting preference.
The layout formation is roomy, elegant and open - providing an elongated hallway of endless closet space. Two rooms are available for sleeping a total of four people: the main bedroom (which sleeps a couple) and the living room (which has a sofa bed that also accommodates two people). The sliding glass doors in the living room (see the pictures) open out to a private deck overlooking hillside views. And if you have a car, provided is a car port to facilitate your vehicle, so parking's not a problem.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests staying for over a week have access to the upstairs laundry room if need be.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood is populated by friendly and eccentric yet respectful residents, ranging from younger to older artist type-professionals in the music and film industry. There's usually plenty of street parking, and to reiterate there's a car port for your vehicle (if you have one) in front of the garage.
GETTING AROUND: Overall, the guest house is in close proximity to tourist attractions, major freeways, as well as public transportation, so the location offers a convenient and versatile base from which to explore and enjoy LA.
