Welcome to our mountain getaway! We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do – all year long! Whether you are just looking for retreat from your busy life; a romantic getaway; a place to go hiking and experience nature; a summer vacation; a location in the mountains to observe fall leaves and enjoy crisp mountain air; or an active, but relaxing, ski trip… this is your place!
Our home is located right on the Eagle’s Swoop slope. During the warmer months, you have great views of the lush, green mountain sides… and we’re just a short walk to the Market and Wintergreen Main Lodge. During the colder months, step outside, put on your skis, and you’re right on the slope! No need for your car here. Just ski half way down Eagle's Swoop and get your lift tickets for the day... and don't forget... you can always stop by the house for a warm-up, hot chocolate, and lunch!
Our home has two bedrooms, each with Queen beds, and a loft bedroom with two twin beds and a futon - all bedrooms have their own TVs. There is a deck with a gas grill overlooking the slope, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living room with wood burning stove (wood provided) and 55' flat screen 3-D SmartTV, and two private baths. The house has free wireless hi-speed internet access and a washer and dryer is available for your convenience.

We just returned after a three day stay here. The house was very well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the wifi reception was great. One of the beds is a sleep number bed which we found is not for everyone. I am sure if you have one and know which setting you like it would be better. We had 4 adults and 4 children which fit the house perfect. The loft was a good hangout for the kids and left room for the adults to relax. The view of Eagle Swoop was good and the house was just far enough off the slope (about 15 yards) that the snow blowers did not keep you up at night. The only problem we had was the walk way from the driveway to the house is very icy. This is something you should expect though when staying at a house that is slope side and the owner also advised use to bring a flashlight if we planned to arrive after dark. The description of the house was good and the owner was nice to work with. The owner provided a well written contract and a very good information sheet. I would stay here again and recommend this house to friends and family that wanted to stay slope side on a blue.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The home is beautiful, very clean and well stocked. The living area, with a great couch and tv, was a perfect place for family to relax. Location on the slope was perfect for skiing. Hope to come back again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The only thing that I can complain about was that we did not spend enough time there, one day is just not enough. We would like to come back sometime and I will be sure to keep your email handy when we figure out when that will be. We will be a returning customer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
