The property offers security & total privacy within its walls. Situated within an exclusive gated community, the property enjoys beautiful views of the mountains. Across the street is internationally renowned golf (adjacent to Mission Hills GC) while shopping, & restaurants are just minutes away. For those who enjoy the "Old Palm Springs" or “El Paseo” areas for shopping & dining, this property is centrally located just 15 minutes from both locations.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you know you arrived. Enjoy the beautiful design & quality. A central great room with fireplace & entertainment/media center is the hub of the home and showcases custom furnishings and design. The back of the great room is full windows, overlooking the pool and lush landscaping. This area of the home is very inviting as a gathering place with its rich and warm desert colors. The great room is also the central hub for electronic media for the property. Within the great room enjoy watching HDTV or your favorite movie on a 58” flat panel, complete with sounds surround. The entertainment system allows you connection to cable music to be enjoyed throughout the property. The property has speakers in both the outdoor area and the master bedroom, each with separate volume control.
The fully stocked, gourmet kitchen is filled with beautiful custom cherry cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, tall ceilings & granite counters. The GE Monogram culinary appliances include a 42” refrigerator/freezer, built-in double oven with convection, and a 5 burner gas cook top. Adjoining the kitchen is a large breakfast area that easily opens up to the pool area via 2 French Doors. Just around the corner is a stainless steel barbeque complete with outdoor lighting for night time barbecuing.
The master suite is located in an isolated corner of the home and enjoys direct access to the spa & pool. This large suite & retreat is beautifully furnished. At the end of the day melt into the California King bed and relax watching your favorite show or movie on the flat panel television.
The second master bedroom or grandmother suite is on the opposite of the home, contains another king bed and complete ensuite and has a separate entrance for privacy. Directly connected to the bedroom is an adjoining sitting area, currently furnished with a very large sectional sofa. Enjoy movies on the flat panel TV contained in the armoire. Room can easily be converted into sleeping area for 2 additional people.
Den off the front entrance contains a queen bed and is in close proximity to 3rd bathroom and/or or powder room.
Dining room seats 8 comfortably and is a great venue for entertaining in style.
Preference is for stays of at least 2 months.
Weekly maid service available for an extra $100 per week or $100 for service every 2 weeks.

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: I currently live in Los Angeles and find it difficult to make it out to Palm Springs as often as I like. I have a huge passion for interior design and undertook the project in 2004 to make it my second home. I just wish I had more time to enjoy it. Until then, I would love that somebody has that opportunity.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
I initially had no intentions on renting the property and thus it feels more like a home. Originally from Canada, I know how harsh the winters can be and how inviting Palm Springs can be. There is nothing like Mimosas in the pool on Xmas morning.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
If you enjoy the holidays, I am nuts about Xmas and thus home comes with all the decorations, including a 10 foot tree. Although warm and miles away from the snow, with all the decorations, it certainly still feels like Xmas. Xmas set-up included in any 3 month or more rental.
