  What a lovely studio - clean, beautifully designed and decorated. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Bob and Anita were great hosts - and the fresh papaya at breakfast was perfect. I enjoyed practicing my tai chi on the deck each morning, listening to a remarkable number of different birds, watching the cat play in the garden below And its an easy and pretty drive to many places on the island Highly recommended

  This is a great stay for me and my wife. The host (bob and anita) are great, greeting you as you checked in to their place, welcoming you into your cottage and lanai, and the best of the stay is their little notes around the cottage that warms your heart. Stay by to find out what i mean. Enjoy the stars at night (mind the slight chill) and the greetings of gardens, forest and blue skies just outside your lanai. Great getaway!!!

  Serenity in Hawaii secluded location makes it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the Hamakua coast. The grounds are beautiful and the room is very elegantly furnished. My wife especially enjoyed sitting out on the private deck and taking in the light pollution free view of the stars. Bob and Anita were extremely gracious hosts and we will definitely book to stay again when we come back to the Big Island.

  Such a unique and beautiful place! The guest room was designed with inspiration and filled with lovely furnishings in an organic garden landscape. The owners have created a getaway filled with a peaceful spirit, and I doubt you will find kinder, more personable people! Their breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed massages and drumming this time - we've stayed there 4 times. It's located up on a mountainside with a glimpse of the nearby sea, and very close to the charming old village of Honokaa, the stunning Waipio Valley and Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden near Hilo. Easy to explore both east and west coasts from this central location.

  The name says it all....serenity. A spotless perfect retreat where we got to unwind, relax and really, really kick back totally. Anita and Bob were perfect hosts and their gardens are a work of art. This is a great location to explore the Big Island and after a day's adventures, we really looked forward to returning to our Honokaa retreat. Looking forward to our next visit!
