Our family really enjoyed staying in this beautiful and charming home. They have thought of everything as far as what you need to be comfortable on vacation. It was very clean and organized. We loved the porch and pool area for relaxing and eating meals. The balcony has views of the ocean and was a perfect setting for watching the sunset or just reading a book. The location was perfect as you can walk or bike to nearby restaurants or stores. It is a quiet residential neighborhood. Guppy's is a favorite of ours and it was a short drive to Indian Rock Beach. My husband and I enjoyed walking to Pier 60 every morning. Our teenager was quite happy with the pool and having plenty of space to spread out in the house. We were also traveling with a Grandparent who loved it as well. We would highly recommend the Eldorado house to any family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay here! One of the best things about this house is it's location. It's just across from a Clearwater Beach access walkway, in an area of the beach that is a bit less populated. We could walk out of the house in bare feet and cross over to the beach easily. It is also close to the restauraunts and shops, so that we could easily walk there- and we enjoyed walking back at night along the beach. The other great thing about the house is that it's very comfortable-- furnished in pottery barn style-furniture, and well equipt with towels, blankets, and other comforts of home. I like it when furniture in a rental feels like a home-- no awful print on sofas, etc. Very classy in a comfortable way. The pool was great- small but heated easily and quickly and was a life saver since some of our vacation was cold! My daughter enjoyed this pool thoroughly and the backyard is VERY private and the decor is really nice-- resort like. Also lots of toys in the garage! Owner is friendly and responsive, but also respected our privacy. I give this listing 5 stars. The only thing i can think of on the negative side is that bathrooms are a bit dated (1980s?), but i'm just being picky. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers are new... The shower in the master is great- clearly recently redone, modern and clean. Still a 5-star stay. I can't even think of a single other thing negative. Great rental. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to relax and unwind. The provided beach chairs, toys, and bikes were great. By the far, the best feature was the covered deck and pool where we spent most of our time. The beach was directly across the street. I have aklways considered Clearwater Beach the premiere US beach and it remains as beautiful as ever. Great eating and entertainment nearby.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

House was exactly as pictures showed online and amenities were available as mentioned. Plenty of room and very well maintained. Accessing the beach could not have been easier and all the items (chairs and toys) needed were available. Pool was great and deck made for nice evenings of BBQ and swimming. Stores were biking distance away and made for quick pickup of items.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This house was fabulous for five of us over a week. Great family room area, kayaks, TV's in every bedroom, 50 yards to beach, short bike ride to town or even walking distance, great back deck and small, but nice pool. Stayed 3/30/12-4/7/12 with my husband and 17 year old daughter and her friend! The house was very well equipped and comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there were so many "toys" in the garage. The bikes and beach chairs were great to have. The pool, back porch and surrounding trees and shrubs were are beautiful and relaxing. It was so nice to watch the sun set from the front balcony. The location is perfect because it's away from all the commotion, but close enough to walk or bike to. The beach is steps away and very uncrowded. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful. Hope to go back next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We enjoyed a delightful week in Clearwater Beach! The house was perfect for our needs. We loved the short walk to the beach and when we had enough sun and sand, the pool area was so relaxing! It was perfect for the kiddos and the adults! The kayaks and bikes in the garage were a fun bonus! The covered back porch was wonderful! This is a wonderful house that feels like a home, tastefully decorated with every amenity that you could need. Lots of linens, kitchenware, books, WIFI, TVs, and our favorites-- a heated pool, beach toys, bikes and kayaks. And the beach is just across the street. The beach is gorgeous and great for younger kids as there is little surf or undertow. Dolphins come right along the shore, as well as some beautiful birds. We were 5 people: 2 kids: 7 and 10 years and my mom (84 years) and my husband and I. My mom is fairly active, so the stairs to the upstairs bedroom was not an issue. It was a perfect set up for us. There was also another rollaway bed if necessary. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium -- home the now famous dolphin "Winter" was a treat for our kids. Lots of hands-on exploration, petting the stingray and the dolphins themselves. Very educational and fun. They have a boat ride in the bay too for more marine life discovering. We also went to St. Pete's (Chihuly Museum) and Busch Gardens. All were about 40 minutes from the house. Clearwater is quiet but has some wonderful restaurants--we enjoyed Clearsky Grill on Mandalay (you can walk from the house); The Island Way Grill near the Aquarium and Bobby's Grill (Mandalay) are more upscale but very child friendly. Frenchy's on the beach is a rite of passage. The better grocery store is the Publix on Island Way. We are a family of 6, 3 of them being teen boys & one little girl. We were looking for a place that would be accommodating to all of the different ages. We were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the beach house. It was clean, decorated in "Pottery Barn" style & very roomy. Everything we needed was there, plus some. Next year we will bring much less because of what was provided. Our children were delighted with the garage full of beach/pool toys. The boys took the Kayaks out in the ocean every day & there were carts/umbrellas/chairs/beach toys galore for us to use. The pool with fountains & jets was refreshing & wonderful to use after spending our day at the beach. The owner's were great to work with & we will be back next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We greatly enjoyed our trip to Clearwater Beach, and Clearwater Elegance. The house is beautiful and in a lovely setting, just across the street from the beach. Beach access was very easy, just cross the street and there is a walkover. The sand is very white and fine and the water was a lovely greenish color. The house was fully stocked with anything/everything you could imagine. (baby supplies were endless!) The kitchen had all Kitchen Aid appliances and there were plenty of plates, utensils, glasses and knives. Bedrooms were comfortable and there were TV's in each room. The family/dining room area was very comfortable for six adults. The pool area was wonderful, very relaxing. The garage was stocked with many chairs, bikes, kayaks, and miscellaeous pool toys. Honestly, everything you could ever imagine was there. My only complaint, and it is VERY minor, is the comfort of the dining room chairs. They cut into the back of our legs! But, there were plenty of throw blankets to use to cushion the chairs.. See, I told you that was minor! It was a lovely vacation, I highly recommend it!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Only a few steps from the white sand beach, from beautiful sunsets and diving doldhins, this remarkable restored colonial house has it all. A vacation atmosphere, a pool in the backyard, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, three lovely bedrooms, and tables on the porch and the veranda relax and enjoy each day. You feel at home from the minute you open the door and don't want to close it behind you when it is time to leave. You really want to know who owns this place to ask if it is for sale. The only downside was that the bicycles and canoes, the beach chairs and umbrellas remained behing locked doors in the garage even though we were told it would all be available. I therefore advice to make sure you have access to these things particularly as the beach is perfect for cycling to Caladesi Island and the water just as perfect for canoeing. Nevertheless, this was without any doubt the most beautiful vacation home I have ever been to and that means quite a bit after more than 25 years of extensive traveling.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for the wonderful comments, but so very sorry about the access to the beach equipment. It is certainly there for all to use. I wish that you would have contacted the rental agent! It will not happen again!
