A beautiful and comfortable non-smoking home surrounded by lovely gardens in a charming westside Petaluma neighborhood. The house was built in 1936 and has been lovingly maintained. So much charm and character.
The walls are painted in relaxing colors. The furniture is comfortable and cozy. Numerous places to curl up and take a nap. The beautifully designed kitchen creates an inviting place to prepare delicious meals from the vast array of Sonoma County's bounty of good food. Most guests don't want to get out of the beds (1 king & 1 queen), they are so comfortable. The art work is varied and eclectic.
There is an outdoor living room overlooking the back yard. Once inside the arched gate which closes off the driveway, you are in a private garden. You can wander from the hammock, to the chairs under the plum trees, then move to the rose garden; passing under rose covered trellises.
Walk to the charming downtown of Petaluma. Drive to Point Reyes, through Napa and Sonoma Valleys, or across the Golden Gate into San Francisco.

This little home away from home was wonderful. Comfy living room, fully equipped kitchen, darling patio and the most amazingly comfortable beds I have ever encountered. The place was spotlessly clean and everything worked. The owner is easy to deal with and quick to respond. And the bonus was that the house is walking distance from everything we wanted to do in Petaluma (pubs, groceries, the amazing Central Market Restaurant). I would not hesitate to rent here again and I will recommend it to my friends. Thank you, Jack, for a truly enjoyable stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Dear Jack We just returned to Canada after a wonderful stay at you home in Petaluma! Your cosy place was absolutely perfect for the 11 days we were there. We had our granddaughter with us most of the time and this little 3 year old had a fabulous time inside and in the beautiful backyard. The privacy, the flowers, trees and birds all added to a most enjoyable experience for us all. We love cooking good healthy food and the FULLY appointed kitchen allowed us prepare all the meals and even have guests over for dinner. All was provided! We have not stayed at a place that was in every respect so comfortable, clean and so well appointed as your charming house. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy you place as much as we did. We will let you know well in advance when we plan to come back to Petaluma to make sure we again may stay you home again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
