Birch Bay is a short drive north from Seattle on I - 5. We're minutes south of the Canadian border near Vancouver B.C.; At the Corner of the US and Canada.
A delightful, vintage beach cottage, completely modernized right down to the furniture and accessories. And, though not right on the beach, a level walk that'll take literally seconds, puts you right on the central part of the beach in resort Birch Bay. Here you'll find several miles of open beach you can walk along, build sand castles, clam or use the bike path.
Our open living, dining area is relaxing with lots of sunshine. The new kitchen with marble countertops adjoins the public rooms. When you want space apart, inviting family room has 2nd cable TV/DVD/VCR. A seasonal sunroom with French doors out to the BBQ offers more lounging room. Plus a place to put those sandy beach treasures! Out the French doors you'll find a private patio dappled in sunlight, perfect for an afternoon catnap while gentle sea breezes caress the cares away. The BBQ is extra special, a 6 burner Platinum Weber with a built in smoke burner. You'll have plenty of privacy in the large, fenced yard for relaxing or family games.
Come nightfall, you'll be soothed in the large, vaulted master bedroom with its own 3/4 bath with heated tiled floor & tiled, double head shower. Charming main bath has its original, deep claw foot tub & shower, complete with our own special soaps. Two sweet, smaller bedrooms don't skimp on comfort, king beds or twins are available in these rooms. For little tykes, there's a Winnie the Pooh chair just for you! This cottage works well for single families as well as extended families and groups of friends.
With your off season stay, you receive free fresh baked cinnamon rolls, a real hit with our guests, delivered to the cottage.

Why the Owner Chose Birch Bay
We had wanted a vacation home for some time and while vacationing in Birch Bay we decided we loved the ambience of Birch Bay. Birch Bay is right between Seattle and Vancouver B.C., but has its own unique character. Birch Bay has a small village atmosphere. It's a sheltered bay off the beautiful Strait of Georgia, close to the San Juan Islands and Semiahmoo. Landside, we're surounded by countryside that offers a huge array of outdoor activities and artisan qualiy products.
