No resort, parking or Internet fees at Maui Sands! This unit is about 80 - 100 yards from the ocean and is super family-friendly. This unit is modern, clean and highly upgraded. Featuring granite counter tops, A/C and a completely remodeled kitchen and bathroom with a king bed in the master and 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom. In the front room you’ll find a day bed which gives you a total of 5 people sleeping on beds. Six if you want to have someone sleep on the couch! Unit contains videos, books, sand toys and random snorkel gear. Enjoy the large 120 sq. ft. lanai with custom build dining booth/table for your outdoor dinners. Listen and watch your guests and family playing at the pool while you are eating on your balcony.
If you have little ones you’ll specially enjoy the ocean-front park which is only 2 minutes away! Wake up every morning and walk to the ocean front park with the kids. Grab some fresh fruit across the street at the farmers market or the health food store, then grab a cup of Joe at 'Bad Ass' coffee and take the kids to play on the play structures at the park. When it gets a little hot, stroll over to the beach area where you'll find warm ocean water and a sandy beach. Let the kids catch small fish in the 1 foot deep natural baby beach during low tide. The small fish get trapped and it's a blast to watch the kids play in the sand and try to catch the crabs and fish.
Maui Sands in between Papakea resort and Paki Maui. Located in Honokowai, Maui Sands is 2 minutes north from Kaanapali and 5 minutes north of Ludhiana on the West side of the island. Maui Sands property faces north West at the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Guaranteed sunsets every night. Neighborhoods in order from Lahaiha go like this... Lahaina, Kaanapali, HONOKOWAI, Kahana, Napili then Kapalua. The further north you go from Kaanapali and Lahaina the more cloudy and rainy it gets. Honokowai is considered right in the middle! Just before the rain line. It's perfect weather because during the day it's typically sunny and a little breezy and at night it's cool enough to keep your windows open and listen to the ocean waves. If you’re lucky you'll experience our 'Maui Snow'. It's the natural mist from the rain coming from up north! It's great because it keeps you cool while sunburning. If you look on a satellite, you'll see North Kaanapali Beach (the sand) ends right at our property. Walk for miles down our beach! You CAN'T from north of our property.
Walk to Black Rock, Dukes Restaurant ON THE BEACH! This may not sound like a big deal but any property north of ours you CANNOT take LONG walks down the beach! Walk for hours on the BEACH if you want! If you thinking of staying in condo north from our property.... Kahana, Napili and the Kapalua areas (in that order), keep in mind, they may have 'beaches' but not ones you can walk down for more than a minute! You can walk down our beach all the way to Kaanapali, Whalers Village, Black Rock (best snorkeling site on the islands) and to Dukes Restaurant ON THE BEACH! Not the lower road! Walking distance to ocean front park, a farmers market, spa, grocery stores, coffee shops, snorkel rental stores and to restaurants. Great Area!
Large pool area and 3 BBQs: Our pool is an over sized pool with soda machines, a book library, shower and outdoor kitchen area. Great for eating and bbqing at the pool. Bring your food and cocktails for a party at the pool! If you forget something, your unit is right there!
Golf: Kaanapali North and South where the Senior Tour is held every year is a 2-minute drive south in Kaanapali. Kapalua features the Fed X cup every year and is the kick starts the first tournament of the PGA Golfing Tour. It's televised every year around January. Kapalua is 5 minutes north of our area.

This is the best condo that I stayed in Mui. Spacious, well decorated, VERY CLEAN, well equiped, near the beach and the beast area in Maui, Ka'anapali, excelent beaches, neighbors were friendly. tha appartment was excellent SUper recommended.Owner response: Mahalo!

We were easily able to find this condo at night with the detailed map and instructions given by our agent. The whole booking process was simple and our agent was very helpful with everything. Finding a bottle of champagne in the fridge was a nice touch too. Upon arrival, we walked into a cool, air-conditioned and spacious condo that contained everything we needed. We had a perfect sleep every night, although our 19 year-old, who is 6'6" could have used a longer bed. Bathroom fan needs fixing but not a major problem. The balcony (lanai) was a great place to eat, read or just enjoy the sights, sounds and fragrant smells of the complex. The pool was a great place to get refreshed in the morning or after a day at the beach. The beach was only a few steps down the path from the pool and was a great place to explore, read, think and or just enjoy the view. Everything was very handy. Renting snorkels, grocery shopping or grabbing a fish taco were all within a block or two or you could drive further if you wish. The state beach at Khanapali was where we spent most of our days swimming and snorkelling, all within a 3 minute drive. We found the condo to be very well located near other activities as well. Lahaina was great for shopping and eating and was only about 20 minutes from our condo. Overall, we were very happy with our relaxing 2 week stay with our family of 4. We would definitely come back again. Soon, we hope.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
