What a fabulous space! The ducks, Mt. Hood, the sunset over the lake. It's been wonderful. This is my first time visit to the Pacific North West. It has been everything I've always heard and more. “Late in the evening after a long day of delayed travel from the East Coast we drove from the Portland airport to a different world. The trees were overhanging and each window box blossoming with flowers, the lights of the homes reflected off the lake. We arrived at our destination and were greeted with a warm welcoming smile. At almost midnight, (delayed flight) Orionne led us down the stairs to the most special place where we would then rest our heads for 3 nights. Our large bedroom felt sacred and beautiful. The room had been set up especially for us by two very special people with a taste of the finest hospitality. We settled in with a hot shower in the expansive bathroom and then relaxed in the hot tub under the moonlight. We almost had to pinch ourselves! How could we be this blessed? Feeling held in the lap of luxury.... we had an incredible sleep and awoke in the morning opening the bedroom door into a sacred space especially set for our pleasure and enjoyment. The view of the lake from the deck off the living room space was delicious, even the view from the hot tub could steal your breath away. Oh…. and Mt. Hood? Yes, stand on the deck and look left, well you will most certainly feel you are in a one of the most magnificent places in the world. All the while being surrounded by the beautiful peaceful energy of nature, we were mesmerized by the geese, heron, osprey and eagles that flew over the lake throughout the day. We ventured out for a hike at Multnomah Falls and found all we needed within 3-7 minutes. How simply divine the space was. Truly the best of nature and the city.
