  We were seven friends staying at the house, mostly from Europe and had the best time of our lives! I do not know where to start.. The owners are very friendly, easy going, dependable and do have a lot of class which reflects in the style of this incredible home. We immediately felt at home.. The view across the infinity pool is superb, it does not get any better than that... Sunsets were amazing, we took hundreds of pictures of different light settings, reflections in the pool and ourselves... ;-) enjoying the view from high above Beverly Hills. Since evenings were cooler we used the outside fire place frequently which was very comfortable.. Lots of athmosphere...!! The brand new kitchen is beautiful. We used it quite a lot, also the nespresso machine. At Bloomingdale's we got coffee at the nespresso store, which is conveniently located, not far away.. One night we grilled steaks outside, which is very memorable, since we had the best view in all directions, from every window in the house as well as from the pool area... Help from the owners was always very quick. One day we needed a special DVD player to show home made DVDs, so the owners sent a team in which installed a certain player at noon. Incredible! Cleaning staff was also very friendly and never interfered with our days... The sound systems in the living room as well as the movie theatre are superb. This is very important to me. We brought our own CDs and IPODs, which worked great with the inbuilt sound system. Internet worked very well, too! All in all we had a very relaxed, great time at the house. Not one of us wanted to leave... :-) Looking at our pictures it feels like an incredible dream.... Thank you!!! Paul and Kerstin with friends

  The location is fantastic, just 10 minutes from the heart of Sunset Strip and 15 mins from Beverly Hills shopping precinct. The views are incredible with near 360 degree vistas from the Hollywood sign and Observatory(on a clear day)out the front to the Getty, coast and Ocean beyond from the private backyard. All in a tranquil private setting. The house is stylish and well designed and the rear entertaining area offers a fantastic pool, spa, deck and BBQ. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

  It was our last summer holiday as Europeans living and working in the USA, so we decided to base this vacation in California, a part of the world to which we keep being drawn back. As a family of four we found every aspect of this home delightful. The views rival anything seen in the Mediterranean, Tuscany, Indian Ocean …you name it: with cool morning mists revealing a vista of peace and space, the sunsets over the Pacific are the most memorable of all our travels. The outdoor space (refurbished prior to our arrival) was stunning, and we all had enough space to feel at rest. An abundance of technology from the kitchen, to bedrooms, the home movie theater and sound system about the property was fun, the furnishings most comfortable, but the location is the attraction - so secluded and calm. It is a climb up from Beverly Hills, but the views blow you over when up there. From the front of the property, you know you are in LA with the distinctive downtown LA and the Hollywood sign winking at your from across a canyon; look west and this is heaven on earth. No question, we would return if the property is available and the opportunity presents!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
