  We spent a wonderful week here beginning Saturday, May 11th, 2013. Upon arrival Deb the housekeeper and Wayne the caretaker welcomed us and showed us around. An update and remodel had just been completed and the home is full of new furniture and linens, as well as new outdoor furniture and hot tub. The home is spacious and very clean, always light and bright, lots of fresh air, and the air conditioner really keeps out the heat. The outdoor patio and rooftop deck were excellent, and the beach is only twenty steps or so across the backyard. The beach is big, the sand is soft, the water is warm, and there was a steady parade of cruise ships to watch. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms looked brand new, the beds were comfy, and the grounds of the property are full of tropical plants and flowering bushes that made the air smell sweet. We even got to watch NASA launch a rocket from the house. Everything was just terrific, this home is a wonderful place for relaxation and fun for all ages!! We hope to come back next year!!!

  When we found this listing on VRBO, we could not believe our luck. It was just what we were looking for--a private quiet home right on the ocean. We were not disappointed. It was everything we could have wished for and then more. The owner is wonderful and the caretaker, Wayne, who lives in a cottage on the property, was very helpful and considerate. We were amazed to receive fresh flowers for the table and yes, even, a bottle of wine! The home has everything you could possibly need including a fully stocked kitchen, a full-sized FREE washer and dryer, fast internet, great TV's, several umbrellas and chairs for the beach, barbeque grill, bed linens, towels, iron, and hairdryer and the list just keeps going! They even supply the paper towels. You only need to bring your own clothes! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it often. The views of the ocean are great. We used both decks and loved the views. The home is extremely clean with beautifully remodeled bathrooms and nice decor. A large grocery store is only several miles away and there are convenience stores within walking distance, and good restaurants in the area. With the fully stocked kitchen, you can cook, bake, etc too. This property's amenities are even better than the listing description. We cannot think of one negative about renting this home.

  We LOVED this place. The ocean really is just out the back door. The owner has gone out of his way to make this a perfect vacation get-away. There are views of the ocean from the living room, from the outdoor hot tub, and from a fabulous upper deck. The ocean can be heard from the master bedroom. The kitchen is FULLY equipped, large tv in living area and a second tv in the second bedroom, wifi, a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a gas grill and dining area on the back patio, washer/dryer. The beach was wonderful - not too crowded, nice waves for boogie-boarding and surfing. We really appreciated being only one hour from Orlando and one hour from Disney. The photos don't do the place justice. The furnishings have been updated since the photos were taken.

  First let me say that we have stayed here several times, and hope to do so again next year. The title of this review says it all. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday away from the noise (except for the lapping of the nearby sea when on the sun deck, very relaxing) and bustle of every day life this is the place. It is fully equipped, you need take nothing except your personal belongings. Any query and Wayne the helpful and friendly caretaker lives nearby. There is plenty to do in the area, just a short car ride to the many shops and eating places. If you want Orlando / Disney and the crowds it is about 40 minutes away by car, which is great to see but so much nicer to return to the quiet and peaceful beach and surroundings of the beach house. The photos are accurate, the owner is always updating and improving so some changes may have taken place to decor etc. it is always very clean and well maintained. If you want the exercise or just to take a stroll then walk along the usually near empty sandy beach (its at the bottom of your garden) to the estuary and watch the boats and fishermen, or if lucky the dolphins and manatee swimming by. If you want to chill then sit on the sun deck or relax in the hot tub. To sum up I would recommend this property to all ages. Enjoy it we do !

  My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old daughter last week. I must say, I have never enjoyed myself more on vacation. I felt so much at home, I did not want to check out! This place could not be in a better location, and the landscape makes it feel completely secluded. You can get some sun in the yard, or soak in the hot tub, all while listening to waves in total privacy. Or just walk to the beach in just a few steps. There were beach toys, boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach. The house is sunny and bright, with great cable tv and fast wifi internet. Love, Love Loved it! I would highly recommend this place, but I would rather not because I would like to keep the place to myself :) I will for sure stay again!

  My husband and I were looking fore the perfect beach getaway vacation where we could just relax, enjoy the calmness and tranquility of the ocean - and bring our dogs with us. This property was the answer to our prayers! The owner and caretaker are fantastic. The house was clean, in perfect condition and had everything we needed and more. The backyard empties right onto the beach and you can watch the sunrise and sunset from the patio every day and night. Cape Canaveral is a wonderful area, and seemed to be a little quieter than other beach towns in FL - which suited us perfectly. This was absolutely the best vacation we've ever had and we can't wait to rent this property again!

  Stayed for a week with my husband and 4 year old. Steps to the beach, great ocean views. Free WiFi and updated furnishings. Everything was clean and well appointed. You won't regret staying here! Owner and care taker were wonderful.

  We spent christmas week at this home. The pictures are pretty accurate and the home was very comfortable. The care taker, Wayne, was very helpful in explaining everything to us. Our only issue was that we brought our 2 dogs with us planning to take many long walks on the beach with them. Upon our arrival we found out that ALL of Brevard County does not allow any dogs on beach and we would be fined. I feel that the owner should have told us about this as he knew we were bringing them with us. Other than that we managed to have a good time. Found alot of great restaurants. Unfortunately, due to the fact of the "no dogs on the beach" we will not be back.

  Our stay at the beach house was wonderful! We love that it is an authentic Cape beach house, not a condo or duplex. A real plus was that we could actually see the ocean over the dunes. The two story deck was great and when not walking on the beach (extremely nice) we spent a lot of time there either on the patio in the shade or up top, often watching the cruise ships come and go. Although we are a family with "older" kids the house would be perfect for a family with children of any age. My Dad uses a rolling walker now and the open layout of the house made it very easy for him to get around. He was happy to find a recliner in the living room and a seat in the master shower. He felt at home in the house as did the rest of us. The other reviews cover all the positives about this house. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed by a stay here. We definitely plan to return as soon as possible!

  This beach house is just perfect. It was very clean and comfortable and had every home comfort you need. The location is just amazing . . . . i must say i had a tear in my eye on the day i had to leave. The views from the decking are all you could ever want. Up there you could watch amazing sunrises, the odd dolphin swimming by and the large cruise ships sailing off to the Caribbean. Wayne who takes care of the house is very friendly and there for help or advice if needed, He showed us every room in the house which has never happened to us before, we have usually just been given a code and then it was left to us to find everything. There are lots of places to eat and drink very close by at Canaveral Port area or down at Cocoa Beach Pier. Just a very short trip and you can get boats trips from Merrit Island or nip to Historic Cocoa Village (good for us ladies and our shopping) There is basically every activity you can think of. If you want to visit the Disney parks etc, it is only a short drive away, although i cannot think why anyone would rent this lovely house and want to leave it! Just stay and enjoy the house and lovely veiws. I am hoping to return again in 2 years time and i would recommend the Beach House to anyone. I loved every minute.
