Enjoy beautiful ocean sunrise and sunset views from this lovely 3 bedroom, 2-story family home complete with central air conditioning, 4 decks and an outdoor shower.
This serene location sits on a quiet road, just 5 houses from Tom Nevers Beach. Here you can get away from it all while you are still close enough (less than 7 miles) to Nantucket Town. In town you can enjoy the historic feel and charm of cobble-stoned Main Street with its numerous shops and restaurants.
The 3 bedrooms are located on the ground floor, leaving a completely open, spacious second floor with 14-foot ceilings and open kitchen, dining, and living areas. This unique living room offers new French doors on the east and west corners of the room leading to outside decks where you can sit and enjoy the ocean views during sunrise and sunset. A half bath is located off the pantry on the second floor.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, walk in closet, and access to a private deck via new French doors. Adjoining master bathroom has an 8-foot marble shower with 3 shower heads. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds and access to its own private deck. Second full bathroom is next to bedrooms.
Weekly rentals are from Friday to Friday so that you can enjoy a full weekend on island and have more transportation options. All linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, and gas BBQ grill are provided for your use during your stay. Off street driveway parking is available.

Summer of 2012 will be our fourth year renting this wonderful house. My husband, daughter and I have been going to Nantucket for two weeks every summer for many, many years. We love the Tom Nevers area and now that we have discovered this perfect house, we cannot imagine renting anything else. Our daughter is now married (her wedding was on Nantucket, of course!) and we look forward to many more vacations with our expanded family in this special house. The house is lovely and very well decorated- spacious and open with fabulous views in every direction but still manages to be cozy and inviting-plenty of comfortable chairs and couches to curl up or snooze on. We love the two upper decks-our " breakfast, deck (east) and our "drinks before dinner" deck (west) as well as the lush private yard. My husband is the cook in our family and he loves the fully equipped kitchen and the gas grill on one of the decks- and the availability of so much fresh seafood on island and the choice of fruits and vegetables (and much more!) at Bartlett's Farm. And, of course, Nantucket has so many wonderful restaurants,so eating out is always a pleasure, as is exploring the unique shops in town. From the house you can bike to Sconset or into town (with ice cream at the Juice Bar as a reward) or take a long ride along the miles of bike baths. We walk or bike to Tom Nevers beach-never crowded, it feels like your own private beach. Nantucket is a special place where you can do as much or as little as you like, and having this house as home base is the icing on the cake.Did you find this review helpful?
