My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Villas #201 this past week! The condo was gorgeous and very clean. The little touches, like the welcome note and chocolates, made us feel right at home. About the owner: My husband and I met in Jacksonville, married and started a family. My husband is an optometrist and I am an ophthalmic photographer turned stay-at-home mom. I was raised in the south and my husband is from the northeast.
Why the Owner Chose Villas of Ocean Gate:
While living in Jacksonville, St. Augustine was always our favorite place for a "day" trip. The people of St. Augustine are so friendly and kind, it never fails to brighten my day. We relocated 15 yrs. ago to the northeast but found ourselves returning to St. Augustine every year for vacation. For the past 5 years, we have rented in the Villas of Ocean Gate. We absolutely fell in love with this complex! When our unit came on the market this year, we puchased and set about making it our own. We replaced the flooring and paint. Then we furnished and decorated with "top of the line" items. If any of these items look familiar to you, then you must be a fan of Pottery Barn and West Elm as well! Needless to say, it's been a very busy summer for us but we're very happy with the end result. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love the beach and visiting the historic downtown area. There are some wonderful events to be enjoyed at the amphitheater, as well. Everything from awesome music to a delightful farmer's market. If you love golfing as much as we do, you've come to the right place. The biggest problem is deciding where to play! There's also biking and long walks on the beach. Both of which come in handy if you enjoy all the amazing restaurants that St. Augustine has to offer as much as I do! Of course, there is every water sport that you can imagine. It's also an easy drive to Jacksonville or Orlando if you crave a city diversion. This is what I love the most about St. Augustine, you can do as much or as little as you want!
