The Beveled Glass Chalet is a newer private and secluded home,yet a mile from the slopes, and home "cabin in the woods' feel being surrounded by old trees with beautiful landscaping of flowers and plants, a green house with year round plants (putting humidity and oxygen in the Chalet), a true Rocky Mountain experience and it offers the delightful usage of four beveled glass antique windows built into the home which spread patterns of prismatic rainbow colors throughout the house on those sunny blue sky mountain days.
There is redwood trim, 17-foot high redwood living room ceilings, cherry wood cabinetry, granite counter tops and shower upstairs,, a 200-year-old bald cypress wood centrally-located bar, 4 TV's, VCRS,DVDS, stereo system, and tasteful western artwork and decorations, making this a very cozy and comfortable mountain home. A private and secluded great outdoor hot tub that is partially roof covered (no walking in the snow in the winter!) and in the summer has a fountain in a small pond next to it and flowers and trees galore.
This beautiful home has a fully equipped kitchen, complete laundry facilities, all linens and towels and soaps provided...really everything you need to make your stay in Steamboat very comfortable and something special that you are sure to enjoy. The house even has the attached greenhouse to look out into and see flowers, herbs and tomatoes, etc., growing year round, plus a beautifully landscaped yard with plants and flowers everywhere (Zillions of gorgeous little hummingbirds in the summer. There is one gas "wood stove" fireplace, and 3 other beautiful simulated "wood stoves" (useable year round) for delightful ambiance and heat of fireplaces almost in every room. Very nice!
There's an outdoor grill on the redwood deck by the hot tub for those of you, like the owner, who like to think of summer even with 3 feet of snow around the house. There are 3 bedrooms with one king, 1 queen bed and 1 full bed as well as a queen hide-a-bed couch in a separate room with it's own heated "wood stove". One full and one 3/4 bath both delightfully decorated and appointed.This special home and setting is totally turn key and ready-to-go. All our guests leave a nice thank you note and some even leave US gifts!! (Not required!) We offer testimonials and #'s you can call and check with some of our previous very happy visitors.

Flowers and plants year round, having a green house giving extra oxygen and humidity in additon to the humidifiers to help with altitude adjustment and general comfort. In the winter,"The average home and condo in the mountains is dryer than the Sahara Desert"! Not so in the Beveled Glass Chalet. We are exceptionally comfortable in that regard and in many other delightful features. Our guests leave nice thank yous and even sometimes leave us gifts and thank us for allowing them to stay in our home!! We can provide #'s of previous guests that will assure you this is one special very much enjoyed vacation home and setting
