We stayed in Chile for a month in December, 2011. Our first stay was in Laguna Verde, a small quiet town. We really enjoyed the house, the yard for the kids, the swimming pool and most of all the AMAZING view of the Ocean! We had so much fun sitting on the deck and relaxing and listening to the sound of the waves day in and day out. Every night we enjoyed having the windows open and hearing the waves. The weather and people were great. The manager of the property spoke Spanish but his daughter, Paloma spoke English. They are both wonderful as well. We wanted to just get off the plane in Santiago and go to the beach and unwind and relax. Laguna Verde was able to offer that. The house isn't big or extravagant but it was perfect for what we were looking for. It also has a wonderful deck in the back where we spent quite a bit of time lounging and eating all of our meals. The only downside was that they wine opener was broken! An easy fix for the managers. Also we had a vehicle so we didn't try to use the transit so I can't comment on that. Having a vehicle was nice as Laguna Verde is very close to Valpariso and Vina del Mar. We look forward to coming back to Chile and staying at your villa in Laguna Verde again.
