As my sister Laura said it was great to see the house again after so many years. I swam across the freezing cold lake twice and tried the kayak. Thanks Juliet We want to do it again next year, coming back to see the house.

We stay for a week the end of May thro the beginning of June 06. It is still a little cool but absolutely fabulous! What an awesome view every morning! Thank you Juliet for sharing your Maine retreat! Everyone had a great time! I used to come many years ago and it is such a treat to visit this old relic! I appreciate all the updates your have improved on the place witout losing the rustic flavor of it's history. AWESOME!

This is the one place on earth I feel completely at peace, and I have been up every year since 1998. The location is fabulous, and being right on the lakefront the views from the balcony's are tremendous. From the rustic cosy feel of the huge stone fireplace in the living room, to the octagon dining table and the fully equipped kitchen and laundry, to the wonderful array of hiking and ski fields very close nearby, Liberty Hall is the perfect holiday retreat.
