Pros: We were greeted by a nice man upon our arrival. Great location, only 5 mins walk to Pantheon. Great coffee shop nearby. Convenient location as supermarket is 3 minutes away and the apartment is just off the main road. Lovely chararistic apartment except a few practical issues. Cons: We need to turn on the light even during day time in the apartment as it is located on the ground floor inside a court yard. Only 1 set of keys is provided. Hot water is only sufficient for 2 guests, especially in cold winter January not even say suitable for more than 3 guests, we actually boiled hot water from pots and carried them up for the 3rd person to have a shower, otherwise it will be a good 40 mins to wait for the water boiler to be heated again. No pillow cases nor duvet covers are provided except shared bed sheets, i have to share the same duvet under a shared bed sheet which is not pleasant. Our next door neighbour would knock on our doors or yelled to us while leaving or coming back to the apartment. we generally enjoy our trip in Rome and the stay in the apartment except the unpleasant bit.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

We loved our four night stay here over New Year’s. We got a kick out of being located on “Pope Row” as we came to know the area surrounding us, with the big show windows full of “priestly” clothing and equipment. We loved the huge, heavy oaken door leading off the small quiet (walking) street, as well as the glass doors to enter the sunny communal atrium and the next one to enter the actual apartment. Our teen daughters got a kick out of the floorplan and of course adored having two bathrooms. The living room is cozy (though one arm of the couch was barely attached), and the vaulted bedroom, with its low window overlooking the atrium, is quiet and interesting. The kitchen is fully functional and reasonably appointed. We enjoyed being able to walk virtually everywhere we wanted to go (though we did take a cab from the train station), and overall we felt this was an excellent base from which to enjoy Rome and the Vatican. The only thing not offered here is lots of interaction with the owner. Carlo provides phone numbers and presumably would answer or call back, but otherwise he leaves you to yourselves and your explorations.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Grazie, Carlo, for a perfect setting for our 4 nights in Rome. We traveled with another couple and your flat worked beautifully as a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit was a must for us. Storage was adequate as was the space (we spent very little time in the apt!) and the wifi worked very well. Literally 1 minute walking to the Pantheon and 5 minutes to Piazza Navona - plus only 1/2 block from a market and a cash machine (an extra, valuable bonus!). We walked everywhere except the Borghese Gallery - a fabulous time at a great value. Also, this is on the ground floor, so no stairs to enter the flat, but there is a small spiral staircase leading to the bath/bed area. The only things keeping me from rating this as excellent can be easily addressed (hopefully they will!): kitchen linen was not clean, 1 shower was a bit moldy, we had to make our own beds upon arrival and limited TP onsite (this was easily remedied via the local grocery, however.). With that said, I would recommend this apt for travellers who don't expect luxury - just good, plain living while in Rome. Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
