Another wonderful winter at the Newfie Retreat!

We enjoyed our second visit to the Newfie Retreat and found everything just as wonderful as the year before. We felt like we were coming "home" when we arrived at the Condo. As before, we had everything that we needed. Friends who visited were truly impressed with the condo and facilities. The pool was always warm and the hot tub was "hot". Wish we were there now! We love walking at Downtown Disney, Disney hotels, Celebration etc and the location is excellent. Only a short drive and we are there. Thanks Wendy for checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. It is such a pleasure to rent from you and we look forward to going back next year.

We stayed at this condo for 13 nights from Dec 26 to Jan 8,2013. Everything was absolutely perfect. All pictures on website were identical to the condo. It was a pleasure to stay at this condo. Everything you needed was there. There was not one thing that we looked for and did not find. The owners Chris and Wendy thought of everything.

Always a bit worried about booking a place and it turning out to be a dive. Often the pictures are better than the reality. This was the complete opposite. The condo was exactly as advertised. Clean, tidy and beautiful. Pool and hot tub were both great. If anything, the pictures did not do the place justice as the condo, to me, was better than the pictures! We stayed for 11 nights and did not have a single complaint. There is excellent access to Seaworld/Disney/etc. The I-4 is literally 2-3 minutes drive. Shopping is nearby with groceries/pharmacy, etc. Lots of restaurants. I would go back in a heartbeat. It was a pleasure dealing with Wendy and Chris and we'll be definitely staying there again when we return to Orlando!

great location for a family vacation

I was reluctatnt to write a review because it was so nice we don't want it to be booked up when we go back again! We had a wonderful vacation at the newfie retreat...It was very spacious, clean and dealing with Wendy was wonderful. No issues or problems to speak of...I was a little worried of driving in Orlando and finding my way around until I realized how close we were to the I4...after the first few days I didn't even have to use the gps. Our family of 4 have memories that will last a lifetime...We will be back

We've stayed many times on Terrace Ridge during the last 5 years. We love the place - it's so quiet, safe, offers excellent facilities and is in a great location (car essential). It has everything we need for an ideal holiday base and relaxing time. All condo's we've used have been good but Newfie Retreat really is an exceptional place to stay. The whole experience - from initial booking enquiry to (reluctantly) leaving - has been superb. Wendy is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She's always easy to contact and quick, courteous and friendly in her replies. The condo is in superb condition/well equipped, offering amenities and high quality facilities not usually available in such a unit. The advertising pictures and descriptions are entirely truthful - you only need to read the the other reviews for further confirmation and additional information. We thoroughly recommend Newfie Retreat as an ideal vacation home. Thanks once again to Wendy (and husband Chris) for letting us share your superb home - we'll certainly be coming back!!

Newfie Retreat - Highly Recommended

If you want a quiet, secure, beautiful place to stay while visiting the sunny south, you've found it !! We were very comfortable and at home here, with all attractions, restaurants, and shopping within a very reasonable distance. Our two teenaged sons wanted to stay, they loved the size of the condo and also the free wi-fi was a great bonus. I appreciated the free long distance, to be able to check in with family back home ( so did they ! ). We would stay again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend it to couples or families of any age. Thank you Chris and Wendy, we'll be back for sure in the future !! All life's best to you and yours.

Awesome condo - much better than expected

This condo was very well outfitted and a much better value than the hotel we almost stayed at. The furniture was much higher quality than expected in a rental unit. We spent far less than we would have at a hotel and got 4 bedrooms 2 baths and a very comfortable great room (with 55" very high quality TV) a fully stocked kitchen and large dining area. We we're spoiled and will be back next year assuming it's not booked! We very comfortable with nine guys staying for a soccer tournament - so the washer / dryer was another big plus for us. The owner, Wendy, was very responsive and really accommodating and easy to work with, even on very short notice. We did not go to Disney but I noticed this location was just one exit away. There is nothing close to this value inside the theme park area. There was a supermarket about a mile away which saved us the time and expense of eating out. I noticed the owners had a new electric grill, a play pen and stroller and even a new baby monitor in the pantry if needed for a baby. Who thinks of all those nice touches for renters? Highly recommended. Thanks for such a great experience.

This condo was exceptional. Very modern, clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. The pool and amenties were great. Location was excellent and very close to golfing, shopping and theme parks. Six of us stayed there and we all had our own big bedrooms, all with beautiful furniture. All modern appliances were there, only little disappointment we had the electric BBQ only went up to 200 degrees and it took a long time to cook a steak. We will certainly come back to this condo when we visit Orlando again. Great holiday.

You have a beautiful spot, we enjoyed our stay immensely. It's so spacious and decorated lovely, you have thought of everything. Condo is clean and well equipped and very close to grocery store and lots of attractions.. It truly is a gorgeous property. We had a wonderful trip, the children had lots of fun in the pool. We would highly recommend to our family and friends.

We really enjoyed staying at your condo. I loved that everyone had their own room. Lots of space and very modern and beautiful. Just as nice as the pictures. The condo was clean and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had prior to our stay. I would recommend a more acturate address to put in the GPS though. The area was beautiful. I would definitely recomment this property!!

We stayed in this condo for 9 1/2 weeks and it was just like home. The condo was just what we had expected from the photos. Everything was very clean and well supplied. There was a lot of storage and the location was great for shopping. We appreciated the fact that Wendy and Chris were just a phone call or email away and very happy to answer any questions. Having internet and free phone to Canada was especially appreciated to keep in touch with family. We've rented several times in Florida and this was by far the most well supplied, Wendy has thought of everything you would need. Thanks so much for sharing your vacation home. We look forward to coming back.

I stayed at this property from Jan 5-10 with 3 friends. We had the most AMAZING time. The condo was beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed. The rooms were large and comfortable and the property was phenomenal (club house, pool, landscaping). There are a couple of grocery stores, gas stations, coffee shops minutes away. We will definitely stay here again! The owners were really helpful and responded to emails promptly. Everything was perfect!

This beautiful condo was perfect for our combined Florida and Indiana family vacation. Short drive to all attractions, plenty of space and storage, spotless clean and organized, all amenities and appliances in perfect shape. Also appreciated the large flat panel tv's for watching some holiday bowl games. Very convenient for shopping at new Publix grocery store and pharmacy, plus other stores in nearby shopping center a mile away, plus easy to pick up quick lunch/dinner at nearby Chili's, Subway, china restaurant and others. Thanks Wendy and Chris for a great vacation!!!

This condo is beautiful. What you see on the pictures is exactly what you get. This condo is very clean and modern. We would highly recommend it to anyone with or without kids. Close to all shopping and attractions. We hope to book again next year. Newfie Retreat really lived up to it's name.

Absolutely loved the Terrace Ridge. Ten mins from walmart and 20 mins from universal and i-drive. Even an hour from cocoa beach. Everything is within a good driving distance. Loved the area. The condo was gorgeous and many amenities was available to us. It felt like home to me and my friends. I recommend anyone check out this place. Definitely would be back to use this condo one day soon. No complaints. Double thumbs up!!

Stayed at this unit Sept 2011, highly recommend it to anyone. The accomodations were exceptional and everything was so clean. We have stayed in Florida many times before and this unit exceeds the many others we have stayed at. The owners Wendy and Chris were very easy to contact which is great should you have any concerns. WOW.....What a beautiful vacation getaway! the condo was just amazing, very clean, and modern! I would recommand Newfie Retreat to anyone who is looking the true Florida vacation. Very close to Disney and all the hot shopping. The owners are GREAT! They answered all my emails quickly and offered fantastic deals. Everything thats on there listing is true, no unfortunate supprises like some of my previous vacations! If your looking for the perfect vacation in Florida..... look no further.... just book it!
