  This is one of the absolute best vacation homes we have every stayed in. Everything was just as described, even better in person. The short walk to the beach was great. The kids loved the ocean, but the pool was warmer for swimming. So close to freeway for easy access to travel to Disneyland or Las Angeles. The Easter bunny found lots of great places to hide eggs too! Thanks for a wonderful, memorable, relaxing vacation. We will definitely rent again!

  Our family of 10 (grandparents, parents and children) stayed in Lou's beautiful house on the Ocean for one beautiful week. What a wonderful time. The location was perfect. Not only did we have beautiful beach days and a wonderful time swimming in the pool, but the location was in between Sea World, Disney, Knots Berry Farm, Lego Land, and Universal Studio. We did the crazy fun-filled parks during the day and relaxed with dinner at the house in the evenings to the beautiful sunsets....just as advertised. Lou was so easy to work with and made the vacation totally hassle free. Is was very sad to leave such a beautiful, tranquil place. Thanks Lou for letting us share your beautiful home for a precious week. We will be back.

  This property was perfect to host our annual sales meeting. The house had everything we need and more. We used the upstairs living room and bar for recreation and the downstairs living room for our meeting. The downstairs meeting area had a giant screen that worked out very nicely for the meeting presentation. The location is very quiet, beautiful views with a quick walk to the beach. The owner was flexible and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

  A beautifully located property. Great views, grand entry, amazing living room and fire place, well laid out for socializing and ample room for large gatherings. It’s proximity to where we wanted to spend time was ideal. Also, we had a number of Marines over to the house on Tuesday afternoon into the evening including the base Commander, a number of his Officers and members of my son's Platoon. We brought a caterer in to handle everything for us (Jeff the Silent Chef – I would highly recommend him. Phenomenal food, easy to work with and great service). The space handled everyone perfectly, everyone was extremely impressed and it gave us a chance to really get to know my son's fellow Marines. For a beach home rental, it was ideal and we would not hesitate to rent it again. Bottom line is that we truly enjoyed our time in your home. We left with some great memories and many new friends. Once things settle down for us here at home, we are going to make plans to find our way back to it. Hopefully this summer (if the property is not booked) but definitely by this fall sometime.Thank you for allowing us to opportunity to share your wonderful home.

  Recently rented Lou and Ingrid's place for a get together of a group of friends, most of us escaping late Winter in Canada. It is a wonderful place. The house sits atop a cliff overlooking the bay at San Clemente, with stunning views from just about every room. There is a second floor balcony, as well as a terrace right down by the edge of the cliff. We could hear the seals on the rock and see dolphins and surfers. Beach access is by a staircase 10 houses up, leading down to a bike / jogging path along the water. It's not a far walk to the pier, and from there to shops and restaurants. The property is very well maintained, and the kitchen is fully equipped to feed a large group. Lots of room. In addition to the main living room and dining room upstairs, on the second floor (the main floor), there is a large TV room downstairs, on the ground floor, with sliding doors leading out to patio and pool and yard. A very special place.

  Our family of 11 spent a week, including the New Year holiday, here. The owner was very responsive from the very beginning, and the house location and amenities were excellent. The best part of our stay was gathering around the living room firepit in the evening enjoying our family time together. Recommend this house to all families who enjoy beach views, upscale surroundings and a fun town to walk to. Be sure to eat at Nick's.

  A group of friends spent a long weekend in San Clemente for our annual getaway, and this house was wonderful for the 10 of us! Lou was incredibly helpful as we coordinated dates, and he was very easy to work with throughout our stay. We loved being so close to the beach, and there were plenty of activities for everyone in our group--walking, running, biking, kayaking and body surfing. We got a lot of use out of the pool and jacuzzi too, a nice surprise for late October. Every evening brought a spectacular sunset, and sitting around the indoor "fire pit" was perfect as it got cooler outside. Our group enjoys cooking together, so we were thrilled to find a rental kitchen filled with everything we needed for preparing and serving our meals. We would definitely rent this home again.

  To quote my wife, "this has been the best family vacation ever." We spent 8 days at this beautiful home. I have 4 young girls, ages 7, 5, 3, and 1. The setup was great for them as well as the adults. Each morning we'd get up and head to the beach and enjoy the sand and waves and then head back to the house to swim in the pool while the youngest had her nap. In the evenings we loved the main family room area with the fireplace and views from the large windows. We often had dinner at the house so that we could sit and enjoy the sunset while eating. You can't get a window seat like that at any restaurant very easily. The home is large enough that we invited some of my extended family to come as well and they had a blast. We had enough room to spread out and be comfortable but were able to also all be there together under one roof. The combination of being right on the ocean with spectacular views and sunsets, a private pool just for our use, and the home in general made for an unforgettable trip. Thanks Lou!!!

  My wife and I spent the weekend at Lou and Ingrid's fabulous San Clemente home. In fact, we actually got married there! It was am intimate island-style wedding and was a moment that we, our friends and family will never forget. The panoramic view of the ocean and magical sunsets are something you just can't find in a house this large. Thanks Lou and Ingrid. This pad is top-notch!

  My husband and I spent a week with my grown children in this wonderful home. The pictures don't even do the home justice - it's fantastic. The view from the balconies, the backyard, and almost every window are breathtaking. It helped that the weather was perfect, of course, but it was just a great getaway. We spent hours looking at the beach, the people surfing and the birds flying by. In addition to the view there are steps to the beach just a few houses away. That was the only challenge for me because it was a lot of steps and i have bad knees, but for the kids it was not a problem at all. I highly recommend the home. I would definitely go again.......
