location: The apartment is located in a beautiful spot of the town, in front of the Gloria Marina witha breathtaking view of the sea and the Sugar Loaf, next door to world famous Gloria Palace Hotel. In the Aterro Park (along the sea front) one can go for leisure walks and bike rides. The local airport (Santos Dumont, flights to São Paulo) is very close, circa 30 minutes walk from the apartment. Location is ideal for executives working in town as well as for tourists and visitors. The Lapa cluster of bars and restaurants is located just a short drive from the apartment. The famous beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon are accessible by a short drive or Metro. Metro station (Gloria station) is a 7 minute walk from the apartament. Tourist attractions nearby are the Outeiro da Gloria (ancient church) and the Museum of the Republic (presidential residence up to 1960).
