Our annual vacation at Fripp Island is the highlight of our year! Getting to stay in your beautiful homes over the years have made our stays even more memorable! The Southern Belle I this summer was spacious enough for our entire family...the furnishings are sensational...not only comfortable but unique! The yellow hummer caught the eyes of everyone we passed...the Club car held a larger group to visit the ocean...but, wait, it only gets better! The family pictures made on the Surrey with the Fringe On Top are the envy of everyone! We can't leave out the daily Deer sightings! The children loved feeding our scraps to them...our two-year-old Great Grandson squealed with delight at their daily visits! The screened porch on the back with the paddle fan had to be one of my most favorite places...so quiet, peaceful and relaxing! We're already talking about next year! Mr. De Luca opened his home to myself, my family and my friends (some coming from as far as OH and NJ) for my wedding weekend 03/18-03/21 of 2010. I was married on the 20th of March at the Fripp Island Chapel. :-) This house was my one and only pick to have my family and friends stay w/us, on the island. My love for my job and Fripp Island (I'm a security officer w/FISD) gave me the idea to have my special day on the island in the beautiful chapel. Mr. Deluca's home was positively beautiful, well-kept and pristine! From state-of-the-art appliances, to cozy beds and plenty of entertainment for the kids AND adults. Everyone slept well in their comfy beds and enjoyed the spacious bathrooms and living space. I especially liked the master bedroom and bathroom. The shower was one of a kind and VERY accessible for a bride-to-be w/a very sore back. :-) The Southern Belle is a home I would recommend to ANY family for vacations, wedding weekends or just a romantic getaway. I will leave you w/a comment my ten year old daughter said, the moment she walked into the house, "Mom! I want to live here!!"Thanks again Mr. Deluca for helping to make my wedding weekend so special!!

For all you families who want to share in the wonderful moment of seeing your new Marine graduate from Paris Island, staying at the glorious Southern Belle is a must. Only 30 minutes from the base, it is luxury and southern charm to the fullest. The accommodations were beyond anything we had expected and Mike DeLuca, makes you feel so very welcome in his home. Our whole family was able to be with us during our week at the Southern Belle, and everyone enjoyed all the little niceities Mike provided. Golf carts and bikes, pancake mix, even a bottle of wine! Although we had cold weather and lots of rain, we kept in mind that it was January and we really weren't there for the weather. But I'll bet this glorious mansion would be perfect during those lazy, hazy southern summer days. Thanks Mike for making our special occasion perfect. Fripp Island is my favorite place in the whole world! I look forward to spending a week there every summer with my best friend and her family. We're always the coolest ones on the island driving around in the yellow Hummer golf cart, and the house has everything you could ever want. Thank you so much for the opportunity to come back summer after summer and make new memories. I love vacationing with the De Luca Family :)

The Southern Belle was wonderful - it had everything and more. Very spacious, we had lots of room to entertain visiting family. In a good location, surrounded by trees and deer, great for walking the trails and with the golf carts and bikes the beach was very accessible. Our favourite pastime was riding bikes on the beach. The pool was great and soothing to look out over the ocean. Side trips to beautiful Savannah and Beaufort were made on the cooler days. The food everywhere was wonderful -try the She Crab Soup. Cooking meals at the Southern Belle was a delight with all the fresh seafood available. Michael was a most hospitable host and addressed our every need. We certainly will return to the Southern Belle. Thank you Michael for a great vacation.

Several branches of our family tree get together every year at Thanksgiving for a little "mini reunion" I found Southern Belle on the internet...what a lucky day for my family! Southern Belle is beautifully furnished and at the same time is warm and comfortable. We had a wonderful time visiting, cooking Thanksgiving dinner, playiing games, eating delicions fresh seafood, cruising in the Hummer and relaxing with the nature that surrounds Southern Bells. If a place can give off vibes, this home only gives off positive ones. Like attracts like and the generous nature of the DuLucas to share their gift of Southern Bells draws guests like themselves...you can feel the warm fuzzies in this home from everyone who has ever been enveloped in her charms. It fills each room like the thick Spanish Moss that hangs from the trees outside.

We are looking so forward to another week at Fripp in May 2009! I must say that Michael de Luca is the best homeowner to work with on the island. The house is all that is promised and Michael makes sure before your vacation and during your vacation that all is okay with the house. We can't wait to get back to Fripp in May, but even more we can't wait to get back to The Southern Belle!

Once again our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Southern Belle. The weather wes perfect for playing at the beach or hanging out at the pools. There is nothing more relaxing than taking a walk along the pristine beaches of Fripp Island. I am always at peace here and thank Juliet and Michael for having all of the extras available for their guests. This is our second year at the Southern Belle and could not have asked for a better place to have our family vacation. The Southern Belle is beautifully decorated and so comfortable for all of our families to share. Fripp Island is a great place to vacation.

Mike, we had a wonderful week at Fripp. Your home is lovely and we will gladly recommend it to anyone we know who wants to vacation at Fripp. The kids loved the golf carts and the beach was great. I especially loved the peacefulness in the evening and enjoyed rocking away on the front porch, watching the deer. It's a great place for a family vacation, so safe for the children. Thank you for opening your home up to us, and Carl is an amazing property manager. He was so responsive to our needs and even volunteered to stay at the house when some work was being done so we would not need to stay and could enjoy our day. He's a keeper! Had a lovely time. House is lovely so very comfortable. Saw deer close enough to pet, racoons from a distance. We even got to see a turtle crawl and got to see them move the eggs. Best vacation ever! Kids were able to ride bikes safely and they loved the 4 person pedal cart. Pools were awesome. Shrimp from boats heaven. Restrants were great. Hope we can do it again soon.

Best beach house I have EVER seen - great touches: wireless internet - extra fridge - awesome golf carts - incredible master BR and the location: wow - so peaceful - deer in the front yard every evening!! If you go to Fripp, do NOT stay ANYWHERE else! Owners are so responsive as well...

Mike, Thank you so much for opening your house up to our family. We got back yesterday evening and we are already ready to go back. I made sure that we left the home in immaculate condition. I did go ahead and do all laundry of towels and swept and dusted.I made sure that everyone respected the home as if it were our own. Again thank you for making this a wonderful trip. I am definitely going to be recommending your house to everyone I know looking to take a relaxing vacation. Thanks again for everything. The weather was beautiful not one day of rain. This visit was our first stay at the Southern Belle, and Mr DeLuca went to great lengths to make sure that every detail in his house was on point. From the Hummer golf cart to the bottle of wine, he went the extra mile to make sure that his guests were well taken care of. We had a blast, and can't wait to visit his house again. I got a fever, and the only prescription for that fever is more Southern Belle!!! Thanks again, Mr DeLuca!!! :)

It is very elegant and upscale. If you are thinking about staying at the Southern belle please try to book early because it sells out almost 6 months in advance for the season. Southern Belle is an amazing, beautiful and serene vacation destination. Even though it rained on one of our days we were able to keep busy with the games, DVD's, computer and spending time as a family. When we did get outside we had a great time on the Hummer Golf cart, walking on the beach, and riding the bikes. Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how wonderful our vacation was. Your home was absolutely awesome. Our family is still smiling. Some vacations are just okay but, this one was truly enjoyed by all.....thank you. We were not able to meet up with Julie for our photo but, we took some with our camera/timer and I'll e-mail one to you soon. Always nice to put faces with the voices. We would like to make sure that we can plan on coming again next year at the same time. It would be August 27th thru September 3rd. Please reserve for us. We rented July 17-24 of this year and weren't disappointed! Owner called within 30 minutes of our arrival to make sure we had what we needed! I must say the owner pays attention to details and obviously takes great pride in the Southern Belle. Owner even went as far as having a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival! The property was exactly as advertised and even had more bikes than promised! Getting to the beach was a breeze with the golf carts! Deer so friendly that the kids were feeding them sunflower seeds by hand. Not sure if we will return next year only because we are nomad vacationers but are leaning towards returning to this property next year. Probably need to decide soon as this place is getting booked early for 2006. Thanks Mike and family for a most memorable vacation!!! And to Karl for being such a help while we were there.
