Teacher's Pet is a 100 year-old, Victorian cottage located in the very private village portion of Peaks Island. It has unique woodwork, (very cute), a large L-shaped, covered porch for eating, relaxing, or even the extra young visitor or two. While no water view is available, the ocean is a short walk away. Teacher's Pet is a basic home with all you need to cook, relax, sleep, and enjoy Peaks Island.
Teacher's Pet affords you the ability to enjoy all the Peaks Island has to offer. Beaches, views, walking, biking, clamming, crabbing, fishing, restaurants, and shopping are all available. In addition, you can visit Portland and enjoy all that Portland has to offer. Excellent restaurants, shopping, sports, museums, and events are a short 20-minute ferry ride away.
Peaks Island is a little slice of heaven. When you arrive you will find yourself relaxing almost immediately and slipping into the Maine way of summer living. You will slow down, enjoy the views, find out all the Island things to do (ice cream cones, sunrises and sunsets, birds, contests, etc.). When you finally leave, you will be surprised at how much you will miss all the little things on Peaks Island.
