Great place for entertaining. We held dinner for thirty plus on top floor overlooking the river and city. The unique setting and ambiance really made our time with family and friends special. Easy walking distance to the aquarium, downtown restaurants and shopping. The décor is amazing - this place is what you see in magazines. Functionally great as well with kitchen on bottom and top floors, living room on bottom floor, great room on top and plenty of bedrooms in between. We would love to come back!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The combination of high-quality accommodations and an excellent in-city location made this property the ideal place for our group's annual weekend. In terms of the house, what really worked for us was that the first two floors have ample bedrooms and bathrooms, allowing people their privacy, while the third floor boasts an amazing gathering area where we could all congregate for meals, card games and lazy cocktail hours on the amazing balcony overlooking the adorable Chattanooga neighborhood of North Shore and the sparkling Tennessee River. The beds were really comfortable and artistic bathrooms clean. This house is so centrally located it's ridiculous. While North Shore has ample shopping and dining, the house is directly up the street from the architecturally stunning pedestrian bridge crossing the river, where on the other side you can find even more great shopping and dining, and also visit an art museum, aquarium, sculpture garden, outdoor festivals and more. The owners were amazingly accommodating and cooperative, to boot. Couldn't have asked for a better place. If we ever make it back to Chattanooga, we'll be staying on Forest Ave!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

what a fantastic location! we had a wonderful girls weekend. the house was spacious- there was plenty of room for ten of us. the house was spotless when we arrived and it is obviously well maintained. we loved the stunning views- we all decided to come back when it is a little warmer so that we can enjoy that glorious rooftop patio. it was a wonderful location- we loved hanging out in the north shore area of chattanooga. michelle and alice could not have been more accommodating. we definitely recommend this house- was perfect for a big bunch of girls!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

The other reveiws are spot on. The Tucker house is an amazing space in which to both entertain and crash. All rooms are all enormously spacious and nicely appointed, the view is incredible, there are large windows everywhere, and Michelle is so easy to work with and helpful. But let me tell you about the new space. I was fortunate enough to get a walk-through viewing of the new house (in progress). It's going to ge amazing, too. It's very close to the Tucker House, and if you can believe it ... it has EVEN BETTER views than the Tucker House. The rooms of the new house will be slightely smaller than Tucker, but they are still spacious. AND: 1) there are four bedrooms instead of three; 2) each room and living space will be beaufilly appointed in the same style as Tucker; 3) there are large windows everywhere; and 4) it still has a great outdoor roof-top space. The new house is going to be great, and I can't wait to stay there the next time I'm in Chattanooga with a large group.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We spent four nights in the Tucker House which was chosen to host a rehreasal dinner. It couldn't have been better. Great entertaining space, fabulous views and the guests had a great time up on the top floor terrace. Michele the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Very close to the shops and restaurants of North Shore and an easy walk over the bridge to Bluff View art district, the Hunter Art Museum and the Aquarium I don't think I would chose it for a relaxing getaway though - it needs a lot of people around to fill up the space!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family recently had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It's the perfect location if you are looking for a little bit of city while having the mountains within a 20 minute drive. The house itself is gorgeous, the pictures really do not do it justice! Plenty of windows to give you views of the city/landscape, but nothing compares to the top floor of the house complete with a fire pit, grill, tons of seating, an open room with tv, stereo, and a large table with room for the whole family. The location is within walking distance to what is considered to be the "hippest" part of Chattanooga, The North Shore (Frazier Place is the main drag) giving you access to the Walking Bridge and tons of local shops and restaurants to suit all tastes - we recommend the restaurant Good Dog! Overall, we highly recommend choosing this beautiful 4-story home for your stay in the Chattanooga area! Hoping to stay here ourselves many more times in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

WOW.... We roll up to the house and what a castle!! Anything you want this house has! The house was clean and beds where made. I recommend using the lower drive and taking the elavator up. DO NOT pull the black gate in the elavator by the way..... ! The roof top was amzing at night with the view. I have been telling everyone about this place. Its a must that we come back and stay longer than just a weekend! thanks Michelle!! Brian WaymanDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My girlfriends and I rented this house for a Bachelorette party and had a BLAST! The views are amazing, the kitchen/dinning room/living room are so open and perfect for a large group to all be together. The owner was so nice! She even sent me suggestions on restuarants around town. The house is very close to a grocery store and restuarants. We will be staying here again for sure!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.
