  This is a mighty fine place to stay. A little tricky to find, but worth the effort. The house was spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. All we had to do was bring food. It was like being home. Renee couldn't have been more helpful. The little store up the road, CJ Cedarvue, is a gem. The ladies there were more than helpful with info about fishing and permits. Very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay again.

  The best part of this rental was the fact that it is pet friendly which was important to us because of family members traveling with 2 dogs. Having a fenced in deck and yard made it easier for us to enjoy the time at the house. Of all the places we have rented in the past, this was the least comfortable in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. It looked like it had been cleaned and there were clean linens on the beds, but the overall clutter made it less comfortable. The bedroom in the basement was pretty "rustic" with painted concrete walls and floor. The basement windows would not open at all, which made it uncomfortable for the people sleeping downstairs unless we had the air conditioner running. The propane tank for the gas grill was empty, so we could not grill. Be aware that this property might or might not really be lakefront. We were informed only a couple of weeks before our reservation that there was no lake view - after it was too late to make any changes or find another option. What we learned from the locals in the area is that the lake is a state reservoir that is primarily used for irrigation and that water is pumped out as needed. When the lake is lower, this property is not actually lake front because the property is at the far end of the lake from the dam. There was not even a little bit of lake view when we were there; we were told by others that this is common during irrigation times and times of low rainfall. It would have been a nice view had there been water. Not much to do around the area, but we were there primarily to spend time with family from Colorado, so worked well for us as a place to meet in between. The property manager, Renee, was friendly and I think would have responded to our needs if we had called her with requests. We just chose to manage without making calls to her. She returned our deposit to us very promptly.

  We absolutely loved our vacation to this location and property! The house was clean and spacious and definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was available. We had 1 minor issue that was taken care of immediately. We enjoyed just relaxing at the house as well as spending time at the beautiful lake and beaches to going into town for dining, antiquing, shopping and wineries. I would definitely choose to stay in this house again when we come back for vacation in the future. Thank you so much for making our "girls getaway" vacation a success!

  Renae is nice to deal with even before we got there. Very accommodating. Love the main floor with the wrap around deck and fully equipped kitchen frm high pots and pans to great knife. I have great time cooking 3 times a day for the family.

  So comfortable! The house had everything we needed. After 1 trip to grocery, the car never left the carport until it was time to go home. It was a very relaxing stay! Would highly recommend!

  We rented the house for Easter weekend and had such a great time we want to rent it again in the fall. The house was warm and welcoming and everything the description said it was. The house was well stocked with blankets, pillows, and anything else necessary for a stay. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, plates, cups, small appliances, flatware, basically everything you'd want.Having the sliding glass doors to allow sunshine and fresh air was wonderful. It was exactly what we needed as a way of rest and relaxation. We had originally planned to bring our two dogs but plans changed when my daughter came to visit from Virginia. The three of us had a great time sitting on the wonderful wrap around deck enjoying the view. We even had a visit from one of the neighbors little Yorkie. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend and we look forward to bringing the dogs with us in the fall.

  My boyfriend and I rented this home for a long weekend, and we're already looking for a weekend to return with our kids. We spent only two days in the area and couldn't accomplish everything we wanted to do. We went in the fall (10-15-2011) and the experience was magical. The home itself is well stocked with blankets, pillows, and anything else necessary for a stay. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, plates, cups, small appliances, flatware, basically everything you'd want. I really appreciated the notebook on the dining room table with helpful info about the home and the area. The sliding glass doors welcome the sunshine and the deck was well-used. In my opinion, the photos don't reveal the charm and beauty of this home. It was very clean, well-maintained. Renee was quick to answer any questions prior to our arrival. I'd recommend this vacation home to anyone. Being a hard-core Husker fan, I had to avert my eyes from the Colorado Buffs decor peppered thoughout. But I can live with that for a few days. All in all, it was a beautiful home and a memorable stay. (My boyfriend became my fiance during this trip!)

  We spent a very enjoyable, long weekend at the house. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. It is a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor amenities. Ideal for two couples or families with kids and pets. There is parking for your boat with several launching ramps nearby.
