  .....a true getaway from my fast city life. As business owners, not having cell phone or internet was very relaxing and stress-free. We went boating and fishing everyday. Swimming, grilling and exploring the waterfall. We also recomend that everyone check out the Brother's Restaurant in Murphy on Sundays. They have an excellent menu for Sunday Brunch. My favorite part of this trip was looking at the reflextion of the moon on the serene and calm lake....when we got a quick afternoon shower, the whole place sounded like a rain forest.....so, so relaxing. Thank you again and we hope to come back soon.

  We had a great week, the leaves were beautiful, cool weather, great for the fireplace. A must see, go to Tellico Plains and see the Bald River Falls! A beautiful ride along the river getting to the falls. We went to Murphy and had lunch at Doyle's---Great! Went to Copperhill and sat in a couple of rocking chairs at an Irish Pub and watched all the people get off the Blue Ridge Train, filled up the town in minutes! We did a lot of kayaking on the lake, Awesome! Hope to return, Thanks Lisa!

  We loved the Lake !! This ws the perfect spot for our mini-honeymoon. This was the perfect retreat from very hectic schedules! We left onenight and went to eat @ Doyle's in Murphyl Very Cool. .......other than that we were on the lake. Great place!!

  The cabin was beautiful, everything you would need is here. There is nothing like a very clean cabin on a lake. You have a beautiful place on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to come back in the fall.

  We just left this cabin last weekend and we are planning our next trip back. This was the best vacation and cabin that we have ever been to. The pictures, although beautiful, can not describe the beauty of the cabin itself, the pristine lake, and the forest that surround this area. The cabin was perfect, clean, and you could not see another cabin because of the way the property is shaped. Our children had a chance to see adult deer and several baby deer right on the property (these animals visited daily). The lake was peaceful, and captured our attention our entire stay. We kayaked, canoed, and swam for hours everyday with a back drop of forest and mountains on all sides. We cannot say enough good things about this cabin. It is truly a gem.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We thoroughly enjoyed the lake, the scenery and all of the comforts afforded by your cabin. The house was clean and well prepared prior to our visit. To future occupants of this lovely place: Do Not miss the oppportunity to see the large waterfall on the west side of the lake! The water is cool and clean and the sight nealy takes your breath away. A must-see while staying here....Looking forward to possibly staying here again

  Another wonderful time of R & R at Watersmeet. We truly love the beauty of the area and the peace and quiet. You make everything very nice for a comfortable stay.......the homemade jellies were awesome! We loved them!!! Yum.

  .....It was so great ato watch the kids enjoying time together with their friends. It makes me remember my childhood and the waning days of summer and the dread of another school year.......A perfect setting for a peacful rest. Thanks so much for having us and allowing us the opportunity to enjoy God's awesome creation!

  We enjoyed our weekend boating, skiing, and eating wonderful meals. I couldn't imagine spending our weekend in a more peaceful place. One wonderful memory out of many was waking up to the smell of coffee and getting to see 3 deer - They stopped and stared at us as we did the same. We love this place and are grateful to have had the opportunity to stay....we enjoyed every minute....

  We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful cabin on the most beautiful lake around. We hiked and explored during the day. We took the canoe and fished on the lake.in th eevening we grilled and relaxed by the fire. It couldn't have been more perfect and relaxing. We loved the peace and quiet - thank you for providing a comfortable home and perfect location for our weekend away....
