Located in Parksville, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island, this cottage is situated right beside the Parksville Community Park where the International Sand Sculpture Contest takes place. A short 5 minute walk through the park brings you to the beach, or if you'd rather relax at the cottage you can view the water in the distance.

This guest house cottage is ideally situated within walking distance of all amenities in Parksville - shopping, restaurants, the beach, Parksville Community Park, and only a short drive to other major attractions including the Horne Lake Caves, Cathedral Grove, Coombs, Butterfly World, Little Qualicum Falls, and less than one hour to Mount Washington, Vancouver Island's ski destination. For the golfer, there are several great golf courses nearby that offer year round golfing. Our guests routinely comment on the convenience of our location.

There's no shortage of fun activities, but if you'd rather just get away from it all then you can take a leisurely stroll on the miles of sandy beaches. The neighbouring Parksville Community Park has much to offer to the family vacationer. Kids will go crazy over the water park and playground. Teenagers will love the skateboard park, tennis courts and volleyball. There is a curling rink, as well, in the park. Grocery shopping is also only a block away, so you can literally park your car at the beginning of your vacation and leave it there. After a fun-filled day of strolling the beach or visiting the shops, you can cook a meal on the large old-style charcoal bbq while relaxing in the brand new hot tub.

This cottage/guest house is fantastic for families and is ideal for two families travelling together as there are two independent suites, each comfortably sleeping up to 6 people. The beach in Parksville is renowned to be the best one in British Columbia.
