IDYLLIC SEAFRONT HOLIDAY VILLA
This seafront townhouse promises you self-catering private holiday living in an unforgettable seafront setting. Tucked away in an idyllic gated community on the eastern end of Nassau on Montagu Bay, this two bedroom home takes in amazing views of the ocean. It is ideal for outdoor living, barbeques, cocktails and relaxation. A few steps from the front patio you can swim and snorkel right off the dock and see a living coral reef teeming with colourful tropical fish. If you prefer, you can plunge into the large communal pool amidst swaying coconut trees and bright bougainvillea blossoms.
Situated only feet from the ocean, this home has two bedrooms upstairs with en-suite bathrooms: the master bedroom offers a four poster king sized bed and spectacular sea views . Sunrise vistas from the balcony off the master bedroom are incredible – just like being on your own private yacht! The second bedroom offers two twin beds and sunny views of the tropical garden courtyard and beautiful coastal views of the eastern shore of the island.
Downstairs, the inviting interior spaces include a large living/dining area with sliding glass doors leading to a wrap-around terrace. The colonial style villa is very tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout. A separate sunny den leads out onto the private, enclosed courtyard. A fully equipped kitchen and powder room complete the downstairs. The villa includes all linens and beach towels, cable tv, wireless internet, airconditioning, ceiling fans, gas barbeque, washing machine and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen.
Situated only ten minutes from downtown Nassau and 25 minutes from Nassau International Airport, the house is in a gated community with 24 hour security. The complex offers a large swimming pool and tennis court. The nearest beach is five minutes away at Fort Montagu Beach. The famous Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island is only minutes away as is world famous Cabbage Beach, located on Paradise Island.
This seaside villa is ideal for family fun, private romantic getaways, a perfect holiday villa for two couples or even for the business traveller wishing to escape the hotel scene or for those who just want to get away from it all and experience blissful island living…whether for a weekend, a week or a month. (Please note that there are no child barriers beside the sea or around the pool.) Sorry, no pets.
Whether it is breakfast, lunch, dinner or your evening cocktail hour, our front terrace is really the most sublime spot to sit and relax and enjoy yourself. Only 30 ft. (10 m.) from the sea and with panoramic views of nearby Paradise Island, Atholl Island and the horizon to the east, kick off your shoes and soak up the peace of this tropical paradise.
We, the owners, live here 3-4 months a year (when we are not on our olive farm in Catalunya, Spain) so we assure you that you can walk right in and start enjoying yourselves – home from home! We do!
We do recommend that you rent a car at the airport for your stay in Nassau. Our House Manager, Novelette Daxon, will meet you at the villa to show you around and answer any questions you may have. Additional cleaning services can be arranged through her ($60 for four hours).

My family and I were extremely happy with the accomodations and location of the condo. The condo was clean and we felt doubly secured with the gated community of which it is located. Enjoyed the sunsets and sun rises from the massive glass doors in the master bedrom. If we ever have to go to the Bahamas again, this is the place we want to stay. Thank you.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a vacation. My wife and I work very hard all year and look forward to our vacation time. This year we were fortunate and our son and daughter joined us for our trip to Nassau. Owners write up of property was spot on! We are water people and this home more than exceeded our expectations. We snorkeled two or three times a day, right from the back yard. My son is a science teacher and he found something new every day around the jetty. (Pictured in the owners photos). We rented a car from the airport and traveled all over the island and found everyone to be friendly and willing to give directions to lost tourist. Each beach around the island had something special to offer. We dove with Stuart Cove’s, great operation, and recommend them to anyone going to Nassau for diving. For snorkeling find the number for the “Heat Wave” power catamaran and use them for your snorkeling adventures. Great crew and boat, they went out of their way to ensure we had a good trip. Our son and daughter both said this was “our best vacation ever”. Thanks Carol, this vacation was just what the doctor ordered.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My two friends and I stayed at this villa in March because we needed a respite from our very busy lives. Not only was Carol so incredibly easy and pleasant to work with, she is also a passionate promoter of the relaxed life of Nassau - just what we needed to hear to make us anticipate our trip even more. The home is even more beautiful than the photographs show. The front porch is idyllic for sipping wine (or coffee) and watching the sunset. The upstairs patio is perfect for indulging in the sun and the smell of the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and essentially anywhere that you opt to lounge is comfortable and pleasant. The villa is in easy driving distance to some beautiful beaches, downtown Nassau, Arawak Cay, and Paradise Island. Like us, you will want to return. And, we will definitely return! This is a paradise away from home (although comfortable as home) and we could have asked for more!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We live part of the year in this villa and the rest of the year in Catalunya, Spain on our olive farm. We love our villa because of its privacy, tranquility, amenities and stunning sea views.
Why the Owner Chose Nassau:
Because we are in Spain most of the year, we have decided to share our Nassau home with guests - like yourselves! I was born in the Bahamas!
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Above all, we love the location of our home. Only steps from the water on two sides of the house, we can see the sea from every room. We spend much of our time on one of the patios, the balcony upstairs or in our little tropical courtyard.
We use the pool frequently and the tennis court and, of course, the barbeque! Plus, we are only a few minutes away from everything Nassau has to offer in the way of shopping, sightseeing, dining, clubbing, beaches, entertainment etc....while still maintaining the peacefulness, tranquility
and privacy of our seafront retreat.
