  We really liked the property! We especially liked the coded door. It was great to be able to come and go with out key and using personalized code. The property was wonderful and the condo was just what we needed. It was not easy to find a 3 bedroom condo in Maui so this was perfect for us.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Thank you Brian and Michael for such a wonderful stay in your unit. We were excited as soon as we entered the unit. It was spacious and the view from the lanai was absolutely breathtaking. Our two year old grandson had to eat his breakfast in his high hair out on the lanai he loved watching the whales! The washer dryer in the unit was a blessing especially with the two grandchildren. We made use of the tennis rackets every night and in the day the putters. There were nine adults and two children and we were very comfortable in our unit. Lots of room and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. Brian was great getting back to us right away when we needed help we never had to wait. We were thankful to be able to be together in the same condo for two weeks we made many unforgettable memories and we would highly recommend this condo especially for families. Thank you Brian for all your help in making this vacation stress free.

  We rented this condo with my sister and her family and couldn't be more pleased. The unit was very nice and clean and the property had great amenities that our families enjoyed. The location was good as we could walk to the grocery store as well as a few restaurants. Best of all, the owner Brian, was so easy to work with and so accomodating to our needs. He responded right away to everything we needed. Fantastic customer service! We would definitely recommend this to others - especially families like ours with teenagers. We had a great vacation!

  The property is very nice, the pool, the gardens and the whole area is great.... you must walk a bit to get to the beach, but really we only did that one day, since we wanted to go snorkeling at other areas. I think for a family of 6 people there is plenty of room and worth every penny.... !

  Owner response: I think you did not go to the beach next door, as the walk is very short. There is a picture of the beach next door on our website (and VRBO).   Beautiful accommodations. The condo was well stocked with all the necessities for cooking and beach time. The loft was a perfect place for the kids. The outdoor space was ideal for grilling. The only downfall is there is no beach on the property.

  Owner response: I am so sorry I was not clear about where the beach is. I will update our documentation to give you better directions. It is right next door, so about 150' from the pool. But I am glad everything else was great.

  Our family had a wonderful time at your place. We thoroughly enjoyed the unit, the grounds and pool area, as well as the beach access. We had the time of our lives! We took in surf lessons in Lahaina, and the snorkel tour of the crater and turtle town. Our children were so close to a sea turtle that they could have touched it! They were a bit freaked out by how close to the fish they were. You have quite a piece of paradise there. I have a feeling that we will be contacting you in the future for a repeat visit! Maybe next March break!!! It was our first time to Maui and your pointers and tips we followed closely and I believe that they helped to make our visit even more smooth and time and cost effective. We enjoyed the updates that you have made to your unit. It was nice to have the updated washrooms and kitchen. Some other units may be in need of renovation, but yours was appreciated. We appreciated that there were many items in your unit like the putters, cooler and beach chairs etc. that we could use and avail of. A great, well stocked unit!

  We had an amazing Christmas at the Papakea! Thank you so much for renting your condo to us over the holidays. It was so spacious and fit our family of 9 perfectly. The updates that you've made to it are first class, from the beautiful tiled shower to the granite and stainless kitchen. The loft area was great for the kids as all their things were out of the way. We will definitely recommend the Papakea to our friends.

  Our stay at Papakea Resort was wonderful!! The resort was beautiful,well kept grounds, great location!! Our condo was very nice, and the owner was super easy to deal with!! They gave us all the information we needed to arrive and check in!! The only thing we would have liked was direct access to the beach in front of resort!! I have recommended this property to others and will continue to!!

  Owner response: Thank you Deanne, I think the access you are referring to is the retaining wall work they may be doing right now. If so, I believe when they are done they will be giving access back again. Fortunately there is a great beach just a 50 yards to the left. We look forward to seeing you again.

  We had a most enjoyable stay at J405 Papakea, Maui, two weeks in August. Our two adult children and their spouses joined us and we had the best beach and snokel times! Our condo was perfect with lots of amenities in a lovely setting and walking distance to sandy beaches, a super market, farmers' market, restaurants, and great coffee. Third time we've stayed in Papakea, and we look forward to our next visit!
