My husband and I stayed in the condo for two weeks and enjoyed skiing, snow shoeing, trips to RMNP, and exploring the Granby and Grand Lake area. The condo with loft was perfect for us and our dog. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The king size bed in the loft was very comfortable and we found the unit clean, well maintained and as advertised. We would definitely rent this again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

We rented out the Studio and the Standard Room for 3 nights. The studio was pretty nice and accomodated us very well. We were unaware that we would not be provided things such as dish detergent etc. We practically had to beg the Inn for just some extra trash bags. The Standard Room is pretty small but since we spent the majority of our time in the Studio it worked out fine. PROS: Very Affordable, Good location, Good shower water pressue (Always a plus in my book!), Being able to rent skis from the shop at the Inn for cheap!, CONS: The Inn had serveral things broken or not functionally properly such as a indoor hot tub that appears to have been non functional for quite some time, the hot tubs outside only had 2 or 3 jet that actually worked, the LUKE WARM room that they considered a sauna, the elevator acted a lil wacky, the phone in our room didn't work. NO burning of REAL WOOD in the studio fireplace. We called the front desk a couple times to complain about loud family stomping around above the Studio Room.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed the units! The Athletic Club area is being renovated starting April 7th. The property, prior to 2008, was allowed to fall into disrepair by a former management company, so the HOA is slowly bringing everything back up to standard. There will be new hot tubs, renovated tilework, and upgraded fixtures in the locker rooms! That's strange that the front desk wouldn't provide detergent - they normally stock that when they clean the rooms. The ban on burning actual wood versus the Duraflame style logs is because of local ordinance. Sorry that they didn't make that clear.

we love Granby, not so crowded, great prices and this loft made it very convenient and it was definitely enough space for all of us (8). The Loft itself was in great condition and we'll most likely be staying there again soon :) I will say the downer is the Hot tub/pool area, while we used the hot tubs; the shower, dressing room and overall area is absolutely dirty, almost disgusting. We stayed there about a month ago and thought that maybe it was under maintenance (the inside jacuzzi's weren't working) but upon return this time the area still looked horrid, really glad I had slippers on the floors and all were absolutely nasty!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked my unit so much and are looking at future availability. You are correct that the Athletic Club area is under renovation. In September, we discovered an issue with the structural support in need of repair. Since the Inn is operated by the Homeowners' Association, a non-profit organization, and not a commercial company, we have had to raise the funds necessary from the unit owners. Assessments are coming in, and we plan an overhaul of the whole locker room, hot tub, sauna, and pool area to make everything safe, functional, and usable by guests. Since Christmas through Spring Break is our busiest season, the repairs will begin in April. Hopefully, if you visit again this summer, you will enjoy an entirely different appearance in the wet areas.

We had a great stay! The condo is very nice and the owner was very easy to work with & very communicative leading up to our stay. The hotel staff were all nice & helpful as well. The condo had adequate kitchen supplies, linens & such. We are a family of five & it was great to be able to bring our own food to make the trip more affordable by not eating out every meal. We also had a lot of fun with the kids in the arcade & playing racquetball in the athletic center - fun to do activities we don't normally do on trips. The only negative for the complex, was that the pool & hottubs were too cold to really enjoy. (pool temperature was only 70 degrees). This had more to do with they have a poor building design in this area & it was greatly affected by the frigid weather we were experiencing. I'm sure they are nice when the weather is a little warmer. Very comfortable condo, we would stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you all liked it, even with the temps outside below zero! The Homeowner's Association is going to be remodeling the hot tub area in April, so that will help with the temperature issues of the tubs. The racquetball courts are a nice feature. Let me know when you want to return!

We had reserved another Silver Creek condo online, and it was not clean or ready when we arrived due to a cleaning crew snafu. Stuck in Granby with our dogs and limited pet-friendly lodging options, we did a quick VRBO search for another pet-friendly condo at the Inn at Silver Creek. Jim called us back within 5 minutes of leaving a message. He expedited online payment, called the front desk to get us in to the condo ASAP--and checked in afterward via text to ensure that everything worked out. The condo is very nice, clean and spacious, and the owner was fantastic to deal with. Great place for one or two families, especially with the adjoining queen room. Thanks for a great Granby weekend!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hey, Shan. Glad I was home and near the phone so that I could help you all out. Appreciate the compliments - book again anytime!

My family had a wonderful time skiing and relaxing at the Inn at Silvercreek. The condo was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. We will be back! The only thing I wished we could have taken advantage of was the steam room. It was out of order. We at dinner at Harry Lemon's. The food was a bit bland, but given it was the only restaurant around it was fine.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed it! The HOA Board just approved a remodel to the athletic club area, so hopefully when you return you can enjoy the sauna. The restaurant is also evaluating whether to extend its lease, so some changes may be in the works there as well. Thanks again!

Everything about the condo was as advertised, and more. There are plenty of athletic and leisurely activities onsite to keep everyone entertained. The unit was clean, and well maintained; and it's just a short drive to ziplines, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and more. We had the opportunity to meet with the owner, who was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks, Randy. Glad you, Sherry, and the boys were able to enjoy a little escape from reality and enjoy the area and the unit so much.

My wife and 2 our two younger sons just took a weekend ski trip to Sol Vista and stayed in this condo. The condo itself was nice on the inside and recently updated, but the overall facility is a bit outdated. Keyed entries that don't actuallly lock, and a few of the other amenities that didn't seemed to be as well kept as they probably could/should be. But overall, the stay was great and the facility was exactly what we needed to have a great time. I would definitely come back, and hope to make it a regular trip.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed the stay and the unit. The Inn is experiencing a rebirth with over 100 new owners in the past year, and items that had been neglected in the past are being addressed, such as the exterior door keylocks. Hopefully when you return you'll see more changes, like the new gameroom and laundry facilities. Just check the availability calendar when you want to book my unit again!

Overall a great deal for the price, and we'd consider coming back again. Property was just like the pictures, and had everything we needed, with plenty of room for our party (2 adults in the loft's king bed, and 2 teenagers in the sofa sleeper downstairs). Owner was helpful in answering all our questions and concerns prior to the stay. If there were more adults, we would have rented out the adjacent connecting bedroom, but the loft is a good fit for a family of 4-5, as there's a small sofa sleeper next to the king bed upstairs which we didn't use/need. The resort was a hit with the kids, with a heated pool and multiple hot tubs, and game rooms; however, the resort could use a few updates in carpeting and the like, and was almost unbearably warm in some parts (esp. the main game room). The resort is just a couple minutes drive from Sol Vista ski area (I'd strongly recommend that guests here have a car). Sol Vista is a small ski area, but at 1/2 the price of Winter Park, and even at Spring Break, had no crowds to speak of - really perfect for our daughter to learn to ski. There's a large grocery store just across the highway from the resort, and reasonably-priced restaurants a few minutes drive up the highway in Granby.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks, Bill. So glad your family enjoyed my loft. Many of the rooms have been remodeled like mine, and we're slowly working on the rest of the resort. It's over 30 years old, but it's having a rebirth. We had recently recarpeted and painted the game room; I'll let the manager know about the heat issue. You all are welcome back any time!

We have been skiing at SolVista for over 13yrs and had been paying full price for our stays at Silver Creek Lodge until we found the VRBO website about 5 years ago. This unit is beautiful, well maintained and spacious with the suite room attached. The owner happened to be on the property and came by to introduce himself and make sure everything was ok. Loved our visit!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and had plenty of room for your group. You're welcome back any time! Thanks again for taking such good care of the place and for leaving it so tidy.

Location
Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: In my early 40's. Originally from the South but relocated to Denver in 2004. Love living here and getting out to see all the natural beauty the West has to offer. Professional working for State government.
Why the Owner Chose Granby:
Grand County is so beautiful with all the green, lush surroundings this year! Had been considering Estes Park or points north, but 'Middle Park' is a little less hectic pace. Winter Park/Fraser has lots to offer to do and see, but Granby is a quiet getaway.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The peace & quiet is my favorite thing about the property; that, and the cooler temperatures in the summer time. The property has a pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, men's/women's locker rooms w/ showers, workout room, racquetball courts, and tennis courts across the pedestrian bridge. Restaurant, bar, gift shop, game arcade, liquor store, and even a post office.
