This Luxury 5 Star residence captured me and my family as soon as we saw it. We were looking for a place that could give us the 'Ritz Carlton' like experience at Mammoth and found it with 8050. It is the most beautiful, fulfilling, and luxurious accomodations you are going to find at Mammoth.
We have a three bedroom unit that has approximately 3500 square feet. These were built with an eye towards detail and luxury. Travertine, slate, and hardwood is used throughout the unit. There are two king master bedrooms with large master bathrooms (with rain showers and body sprays), two double beds (which can make another king) and additional beds are available on request. There are two 'dens', a private study, and two additional full bathrooms with travertine showers. Flat screen tvs are everywhere and there is a gourmet kitchen for cooking (I am a cook and love it). We can also provide a two bedroom unit which does not have the second den, study, or master. Washer and dryers are provided as well.
We love mammoth during the summer as well as during the winter. But, in the winter this place really shines. It has a private ski valet that has your equipment waiting as you cross a PRIVATE bridge to the village gondola. 15 seconds after heading out, you are on your way to the slopes. No bus for you! Afterwards, check your skis and head downstairs to the Village attractions or up to the rooftop where you have a lounge, exercise room, sauna, steam room, and 3 outdoor spas.
This normally rents for over $2000 a night, and others on VRBO are offering it for $1500 a night (non holiday) in the Winter and $650 in the summer. We are renting ours for $1000 a night in the Winter and $450 a night in the Summer. \

I can not speak more highly of our experience with this property and the owner. From start to finish this was the best accomodation we've stayed in, and we will certainly be looking to return (maybe even this year). Luxurious throughout, with great access to everything Mammoth has to offer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
