This apartment has a lot of sun and light and the master bedroom is very QUIET. It has beautiful panoramic views of the city. The location could not be better. Its walking distance to Recoleta, Santa Fe, Florida, Retiro. Barrio Norte/Recoleta, is the most sought out upscale and safest area in Buenos Aires. We had a professional interior designer furnish and decorate this apartment with designer furniture, original art work and new appliances. There is free High Speed Internet service. A cell phone is also provided.
The apartment has two bedrooms; a full bathroom and a half-bath. It is equipped with every amenity imaginable. Your rental includes cleaning twice a week. Daily maid service is available for $15 extra a day.
As you exit the apartment you'll see to your right, the Four Seasons Hotel (You can book your sightseeing trips through their concierge and you can use their pool/spa/gym for their daily fee.) Walk two blocks up the street past the hotel and you'll be on Alvear Street. Lined with designer boutiques and beautiful French Style buildings, Alvear is the most prestigious address in Buenos Aires. Close by there is a spa, a bank, a hair salon and a farmacy and dozens of other stores and boutiques.
Walk five blocks on Alvear and you've arrived in Recoleta. Famous for its cemetery, its fine dinning restaurants and its night life, Recoleta is the most visited area in Buenos Aires. If you're up for shopping, you'll find "Patio Bullrich," the most beautiful mall in Buenos Aires, just a block away from the apartment. You're also walking distance from Plaza San Martin where Florida street, famous for its leather goods, begins. Parking is available across the street for an extra fee.
Across the street you'll find four of the best restaurants in town, including "El Mirasol," known for its great choice of Argentine beef. I have stayed at this property on three different occasions and love everything about it. The amenities are great, and one can't beat the location and price. The owner and owner's representative were very helpful and accommodating in every way. The place is amazingly quiet, modern, with an incredible view of the city. This property feels like a home away from home, and with the maid service and all the restaurants nearby that deliver.....why would I ever want to rent a small hotel room for more money? This apt. is ideal for a couple or a couple with one or two small children. I enjoyed the location. This is a top-notch choice for a stay in Buenos Aires without the expense of a similarly appointed and located 5 star hotel.

Dear Aileen, We were completely happy in your two bedroom apartment . The building was well-maintained and we felt secure there. The doorman, though not there on weekends , was very nice and helpful. Our grandchildren stayed in the 'blue room and we enjoyed the master bedroom. The beds were comfortable , the a.c. worked well and we appreciated all the extra amenities (cell phone, phone card, free local calls, free internet, etc.). We didn't take advantage of the free maid service, but had our stay been longer , we would have enjoyed that as well. The location could not have been better for out needs. Recoleta is a gorgeous walking and shopping area and the restaurants within a five minute radius of the apt. are superb. Buenos Aires is a beautiful , very sophisticated city to which we hope some day to retunr. Thank you for your responsiveness to all our needs and questions. We felt very welcome and cared for. Dear Aileen: I want to thank you for the rental of your Cerrito apartment. It made our visit to Buenos Aires a wonderful experience. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated its location. It was close to my meeting venue and close to all we wanted to see. In the future we highly recommend an internet cafe on the corner of Esmeralda and Ave Libertador - Eat Bar. Our second visit to 1548 Cerrito and what a great experience once again. The location is just outstanding. One-half block from the Four Seasons Hotel, three blocks from the Hyatt, and one block from the great Bullrich shopping center. Outstanding eating establishments all within one block of the apartment. Public transportation less than one block away and taxis always going up the street make getting around very easy. The apartment is superb and Camila is great to work with onsite. We invited our sister-in-law and niece to spend a week with us and there was plenty of room with the two bedrooms and one and one-half baths. We would stay there again in a minute. Would not think of staying anywhere else in Buenos Aires. Just outstanding. Best Marilyn and Galen Hadley

Aileen, Thanks for sharing your apt. with us for three glorious weeks. Argentina surpassed out expectation. The apt. was hard to leave as it felt so homy. The location, Camila, Balida and Milagros were unbelievable. The doormen and tennants were so friendly and helpful. The kitchen, nearby grocery plus a small one next door, the washer and dryer plus the best restaurants in the city are just across the street made out visit worry free. The insulated sliding doors really help as they blocked out the outside noise and let us check the temp. in the AM to how we should dress!! Wonderful view from there also. We miss it and want to go back. Thanks again for all your help. We felt very safe in the apt. and the city also. Al and Janey

With an abundance of wonderful cultural sights, shops and an array of restaurants to choose from, let’s say that we welcomed the few blocks to get back to the apartment to walk off those pounds we put on. The apartment provided all the wonderful necessities to keep us comfortable. Having the washer/dryer was a plus!! We will miss this wonderful city, not to mention this apartment, which we called home!
