  I recently read a national survey which found that Geneva-on-the-Lake is rated the 6th Most Fun Place in the United States during the Summer. Thanks to Tammy's beautiful, well-equipped, condo and her excellent entertainment suggestions, we discovered Ashtabula County can be a fabulously fun place in the off-season as well. Each day was a new adventure! Coming "home" to this beachfront condo every evening was a luxury. Tam has thought of everything you may need to relax and enjoy your stay. We are already looking for dates next year to return!

  Owner response: We all know that folks from South Euclid have great taste! And we also all know that #1 must be Ohio City and the West Side Market. So it has a bit of crime there...I want to die there whichever way it happens. Okay, so who of you is guilty of cleaning rather than relaxing at the condo? One or both of you? You can't come back if you're going to be doing that! (Tee Hee!)

  Our family had an event at the Spire Institute and we were so grateful to have have found such a relaxing, accomodating place to stay. After staying in hotels two weekends in a row, this condo made our final meet more like a vacation. We enjoyed the view, the comfortable furnishings and took advantage of several of the restaurant reviews Tamara had supplied. Tamara was thorough, efficient and clear in all of her communications and she made the rental experience easy. The condo was very clean with all the amenities you can think of. We would definately rent again!

  MY WIFE AND I ALONG WITH OR VERY GOOD FRIENDS ENJOYED OUR 3 DAY STAY IN THE CONDO. WE EACH HAD OUR OWN BIKES AND THE CONDO'S LOCATION ON THE LOWER LEVEL PROVIDES EASY ACCESS TO THE PATIO FOR OVERNIGHT STORAGE. THIS CONDO IS ALSO LOCATED NEXT TO THE STAIRWELL THAT IS ONLY ONE FLIGHT UP TO THE PARKING LOT. THE POOL IS ONLY A FEW STEPS AWAY ON THE LOWER LEVEL. THE CONDO WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. THE PHOTOS ARE VERY ACCURATE IN SHOWING THE APPERANCE AND AMENITIES OF THE CONDO. THE OWNER WAS VERY PROMPT IN GETTING BACK TO US WHEN WE HAD ANY QUESTIONS. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO OR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WE DID EAT OUT ONE NIGHT AT THE RESTURANT IN THE LODGE AT THE STATE PARK AND WOULD GIVE IT AN AVERAGE RATING. THE SERVICE WAS SLOW AND THEY WERE NOT BUSY. I WOULD SUGGEST EATING THERE FOR LUNCH, BEFORE TRYING IT FOR DINNER.

  Owner response: Thank you so much for detailing the convenient location of this unit: That it is not only at the lake shore (as opposed to a balcony view) but is adjacent to pool and stairs to parking lot (for those who don't want to go to the lobby and use the elevators.) However, most of all thank you for those kind words about my efficiency on one of those "bad hair days"... Your compliment made everything else okay.

  WE FOUND THE CONDO TO BE AS LOVELY AS THE PHOTOS! WE ESPECIALLY ENJOYED BEING ON THE GROUND FLOOR AS IT PROVIDED A GREAT PLACE TO STORE OUR 4 BIKES OVERNIGHT ( PATIO). ALSO, THE UNIT IS OPPOSITE A STAIRWELL - WHICH MADE FOR CONVENIENT COMING/GOING AS WELL AS LOADING/UNLOADING. IT IS, INDEED, CLEAN & WEEL MAINTAINED! TAM RESPONDED TO OUR QUESTION (SHORTLY AFTER ARRIVAL) IN A TIMELY MANNER. OUR GOOD FRIENDS WHO SHARED OUR TWO DAYS/THREE NIGHTS THERE WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO OTHERS. BEING OFF SEASON, WE CHOSE TO HIKE& BIKE (OUR ONE FRIEND DID A LITTLE FISHING) AND WERE ABLE TO ENJOY THE INDOOR POOL AFTERWARD. THE STATE PARK IS VERY CLOSE BY AND A BIKING TRAIL IS WITHIN A FEW MILES; THE LODGE IS OPEN FOR DINNER ON THE WEEK NIGHTS (ONE OF THE FEW ESTABLISHMENTS THAT IS) AND THE FARE IS ADEQUATE . WE CHOSE TO EAT-IN TWO OF THE EVENINGS. IT'S GREAT THAT YOU CAN PURCHASE WINE & BEER AT THE GROCERY STORES THERE - WE'RE FROM THE LAND OF "STATE LIQUOR STORES". VERY REASONABLY PRICED, TOO - AND GOOD VARIETY! A MEMORABLE EARLY SPRING GET AWAY!

  My wife and I needed a quit Spring break getaway (she is a teacher in Indiana) and we were looking for a quit and beautiful get-a-way on the water and reasonably close. And, that is just what we found with Tamara's wonderful condo on Lake Eire. Tamara was a wonderful host and offered suggestions on great restaurants in the area. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean and what a great view of the sunset over the lake.

  This condo was everything that we had hoped for and more. We (me, my wife, my mother, my son, and my daughter and son in law, all adults) came to Geneva to see my other son swim in the Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at Spire Institute and we needed to stay in a place where we could all stretch out and relax. We found that place. While swim meets leave very little time for anything but swimming, we knew every night we would be returning to our new home away from home. We had a full kitchen if and when we needed to make our own meals, we had a living room where all of us could relax and spend down time together, we had a pool where we could chill for a while, and we had two wonderful bedrooms where we could lay our heads down at the end of an exhausting day. We were fifteen minutes from Spire, close enough that we could have maximum relaxation time between sessions. While I'm sure the view of the lake is beautiful in the summer months, it looked somewhat like Antarctica in February. I half expected to see polar bears coming up on the beach at any time. There is plenty of room for six adults to get around each other and with two bathrooms, getting ready in the morning was a breeze. I highly recommend this condo and we have happily reserved the unit for next years meet.

  The condo is better than advertised. We went for a weekend and will probably return in the summer. All of the living areas are really nice. Our only disapointment was the temperature of the water in the pool and the temperature of the water in shower of the master bedroom. The shower is awesome, but there appears to regulator that keeps the maximum water temperature at lukewarm. The air temperature in the pool was nice, but the water was a little cool for taking the plunge on a winter day. The beach and patio would be really nice on a warm day! Overall, it was really nice and relaxing, and the owner made sure we had all the necessary information.

  Owner response: You just gave me another idea on tracking the source of the problem of this luke warm water in master shower... Thanks, I'm on it! And I'm on it about that pool water... there's an HOA meeting this Saturday. I'll take it there and no doubt, other owner-operators, will have gotten the same feedback, too... (Because I don't doubt you.) Thanks! And I'm glad that you still enjoyed it even with "cold showers". That might be appropriate in another arena but not in a romantic get away.

  This was our second stay that should tell you something. We feel at home here so much so that we were surprised we got new furniture! Tammy is the best putting up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. The condo is beautiful and the view is breathtaking.Hope to return! We are relaxed now and ready for the New Year.

  Well anyone can read just a few of these reviews to feel confident in booking. Like everyone else, I was also surprised at how the pictures just do not do the beautiful environment justice. And Tammy is a sweetheart, helpful and has truly furnished everything you could possibly want. We love the entire area. Such a great family spot with something for everyone! Thanks so much for making this a perfect Veterans Day weekend for an Air Force veteran to enjoy her family!

  Doug and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing week by the water and we certainly found that! The condo is lovely; everything as described and more. Comfortable, warm and cozy. Tammy you need to update the photo with the fireplace! It was lovely to see that as we opened the front door:) Arrived to the sound of waves crashing and roaring on the rocks....fabulous! Toured several wineries and LOVED South River winery, by far the most picturesque and had the best wines (for us anyway)! Laurello was another hit for our tastebuds! HilMak seafood restaurant in Ashtabula was amazing; truly fresh fish and we loved it so much be bought a gallon of their clam chowder, and to my husband's amazement we ate it all before we left, lol. Mary's Diner was a hit for breakfast as was Best Friends by the freeway before going home. Weather got a bit warm in the week (we vacation in the late fall and early spring because we like cold weather, lol) think we will have to switch to November now! Do not hesitate to rent this condo; we had a lovely time and hope to enjoy it again! Thank you Tammy for sharing your home with us:)

Hope the yard decorations were still intact after Hurricane Sandy...I came down to the condo later to watch Lake Erie churn and waves dash against the breakwall. Wow. Glad to watch it behind glass because it was like an acupuncture needle attack of rain/wind to go outside the condo. Wow! Anyhow, I'll take your advice and get a picture of the cute fireplace and I'm going to Hilmak's, too, because I haven't been there in years. Shame on me! Thank you for your wonderful review, tips and agreement that South River winery has great vistas and wine. Glad to have some "cool weather" fans.

Additional information about rental rates

Reservation deposit reserves dates for guest; first come is first served. Balance of payment, including tenant insurance or damage deposit, is due 14-30 days before arrival depending on season.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

8% Bed Tax and Guest must either carry a tenants' insurance of $49 or make a $500 damage deposit which will be refunded to guest 3-4 days after departure if paid by credit card. (Owner has refunded 100% of the damage deposits in two years of hosting.)

Cleaning surcharge of $35 if one night stay.
