This mountain contemporary home offers truly panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Constructed in 2010 with a craftsman's eye and finished in natural steel, solid cherry, warm concrete, glass and walnut this home is both unique and inviting.
Whether enjoying a conversation while relaxing in the deep cushion seating around the gas fire-pit on the lakeview deck or soaking in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the view, you will find yourself speaking in superlatives.
The house sleeps 8-10 people before it even starts to get crowded. The dining table seats 10 easily with another 4 at the bar. The open gourmet kitchen is an entertainer's dream with granite counters, a large solid walnut bar, five burner natural gas range-top, two sinks, separate induction burner, and quality accoutrements. The Game Room has an oversize 8' slate pool table, a wet bar and a 133' HD projection theater with full sound. Artistically stained, solar heated concrete floors throughout the house with fourteen temperature zones. Panoramic Lake Tahoe views from the master bedroom and two of the junior bedroom suites. All four bedrooms have connecting bathrooms, queen size beds and plush down comforters. There is also a separate family room area and complete laundry room. The over-sized two car garage even has a dog shower.
The property is conveniently located within 2 miles of Tahoe City. It is a 3 - 4 minute drive to Tahoe City, 10 minutes to Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows, or 5 minutes to Homewood. The town of Truckee is about 25 minutes and you can drive to downtown Reno or the airport in less than an hour.
Hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing and x-c skiing are literally right outside the door.
A member of the Lake Tahoe Park Beach which provides access to a beautiful private lakefront facility with two piers, swimming areas, picnic tables and BBQ's, children's playground, basketball hoop, sand volleyball court, horseshoes, grass lawn areas, bathrooms and with sufficient planning - access to a mooring buoy.
Lake Tahoe is a vacation playground, summer or winter. This house is a vacationer's playground to enjoy Lake Tahoe!

This home was perfect! It was everything and more than the description. The property was spotless and well equipped with everything we could possibly want. There were beach towels by the spa, warm blankets folded and waiting by the fire pit and enough placesettings that the dishwasher was not being run every day. The beach club was close and adequate but the home was close enough to Tahoe City that everyone was able to jump in a car and go river rafting, shopping, dining, or just cruising various beaches. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather with a small thunder storm our last night for some excitement. The Olympics were showing on tv so we spent most of our time either enjoying the view from the deck or relaxing in front of the tv. The grandkids enjoyed the large theatre room and played pool as well as watched their favorite programs on the huge screen. I would recommend this place to friends and I would even consider coming up again but this time with 3 other couples so we could really enjoy the peace and quiet and georgeous view.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
