  This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. House was exactly as described. Great location and was super clean inside and out. would stay there again for sure!

  The first surprise about this rental is that there were no surprises! The photos capture the bedrooms, pool, hot tub, driveway, living areas and kitchen exactly as they are. We were particularly impressed with the quality and newness of the appliances and large kitchen area that easily accommodated the 13 of us. I personally liked the bar stools were I could watch the dinner preparations without being in the way. (Full amenities such as silverware, dishes, pots & pans, etc etc we included). The 5 grandkids (ages 6-13) went nuts over the pool and hot tub and without intending to, we all spent much more time in the water at rental than anticipated. The beach was easy to reach with a short walk on the sidewalk with public access and a shower/sprayer to wash the sand off when leaving. As we do every year, beach umbrellas were rented for the week and the lifeguard had them in position by about 8:30 in the morning. Our typical routine was to hit the beach for the early morning, pool in the late morning, nap, beach in the later afternoon, and the pool again in the evening. Sand castle competition was a big hit. The two handed kite flying was also great on the beach. We had three vehicles and a boat trailer which fit into the drive. The boat was placed in the water for the week at a local marina for fishing by some of us in both the inlet and ocean. We exchanged a number of e-mails with the owners both prior to and during our stay and without exception, found them to be most hospitable and accommodating to our every need. Their desire to make and maintain the facility as an exceptional experience was achieved and more. Each one of us would highly recommend this location for any family outing. It is safe, clean, and private with great access to two piers and many restaurants. Perhaps the best recommendation we can make is that our reservations are already in for next year. If you stay here you will find it to be a very relaxing vacation with no surprises… other than perhaps that it is better than expected!!

  My husband and I just returned from a Spring Break trip with 12+ teenagers. This house was perfect in every way for our trip. From the private pool and hot tub, to the spacious bedrooms, bathrooms, and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks, down to the professional belgian waffle maker. We thought parking may have been a problem, but we managed to park 8 cars in the driveway area. The house is really just 200 steps to the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!!

  From the moment you turn into the drive, you know this place is special. The house was clean and well maintained. The weather was great for december, and the beach is a very short walk. The beach was a treat being so close, but with the pool and hot tub, we only made it to the beach once. Lot's of fun in the fenced backyard. The beds were very comfortable and the 52 inch flat screen TV's in living room and master bedroom were a great upgrade. The owner, Kay was so helpful and easy to work with. She made the reservation process a breeze. There are alot of special things about this house that far exceeded expectations. I would give this 5 stars for sure, and again Kay goes out of her way to make sure your vacation is one to remember.

  This rental is amazing! We've been disappointed in internet vacation rentals in the past but this property far exceeded our expectations! The listing description is very accurate for this property. The house is very clean, spacious, and modern. There is plenty of comfortable space for a group or family to hang out and it's such a short walk from the beautiful, less crowded Surfside Beach. Having our own personal pool and hot tub were very cool. We loved relaxing on the ocean view balconies in this peaceful neighborhood while still having the convenience of all the food, entertainment, and attractions close by. I had great communications with the owners. They were very informative and a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend this property and can't wait to go back myself!
