The condo is located in the heart of Kailua Kona. It is back one street off of Alii drive and the water, on Kuakini Hwy. It is located within a five minute walk of the King Kamehameha Hotel and beach, and the Kailua Pier where Iron Man takes place every year. The farmers market is two blocks away, as well as the grocery store, post office, drug store and banks. You can walk to restaurants and bars and not have to worry about driving afterward. It is the ideal spot if you don't want to have to get in the car each time you want to go somewhere. However, for when you want to explore the island there is a free parking spot included.

About the owner: I moved to the Big Island from Colorado 12 years ago after college. I have since married and had two daughters. I purchased my first condo in Kailua Bay Resort in 2004, and have been renting it as a vacation rental since 2006. My parents then purchased this condo in 2012, because they loved the location and want to spend more time here on the big island. So I rent it for them when they aren't using it. I love the big island, and Kona is the place to be. There are nice people, sun, sand and surf, it can't be beat!

It's quiet, yet at the same time it is centrally located so you don't need a car, all the activities are just steps away. If you want to go out and have cocktails, you don't have to worry about driving, just walk home. The pier and the beach are a short walk, as well as the grocery store and even the post office is right there.
