This private, four-bedroom, two-bath, waterfront home with beach and deep-water boat mooring is only minutes from golf and tennis. This house has a western exposure and you will enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the deck. The island of Martha's Vineyard is just off the coast of Cape Cod. Although 30 miles long and 11 miles wide, the island is very diverse and each village has its own flavor, from gingerbread cottages to the stately sea captain's home.
There are many beaches and freshwater ponds for swimming. This secluded waterfront home in a beautiful setting is only a bicycle ride to tennis, golf, shopping, and many fine restaurants.
There is a spacious living and dining area with cathedral ceilings, which overlooks the water. There are two queen-size beds, one double-size bed, two twins, and a double-size, pull-out bed in the family room. There are two full baths and an outdoor shower.
Modern kitchen facilities include a dishwasher, breakfast bar, washer, dryer, and a color TV. The furnishings are tasteful and there is a large wraparound deck overlooking the water.
There is excellent swimming, shell fishing, and a deep-water mooring at the property with open ocean access. From the house you can windsurf, swim, and enjoy all water sports. There is also a large, 1500-foot beach one-half mile from the house.
Children are welcome. Pets are negotiable. Handicapped access is fair.
The house is about one mile from the golf course and tennis courts, and a ten-minute drive from South Beach and Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, and the town of Oak Bluffs. Ferry tickets are available. Please bring sheets and towels.
