Great oceanview beach house

This is a wonderful spacious beach home with great ocean views from the living room , dining area, and large deck. The hot tub is great after a long day at the beach. 7 miles of flat warm sandy beach.We loved the layout of the house. Rooms are large with comfy beds. New flat screen TV's, DVD and VCR Players with almost 100 movies to choose from. A separate play area for the kids to play in as well as a TV and DVD player for the kids area was great .The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has lots of seating for meal times. The beach house is close (1/2 block ) to the beach. Lots of stores, restaurants, and the Chinook Winds Casino are all close by. The owners are friendly and great to deal with. 2nd house of theirs we've stayed at. Wonderful experience at both. Great place. Great value .

Stayed at this property between Christmas and New Years. Love the access options to the beach. Very close is some stairs and just a bit further are 2 access points without stairs = much better for dogs or people who cannot negotiate steps. Very good beach walking here. Parking is the biggest I have every had at a beach home. Will consider staying here again.

We have stay here at this beach house going to be our 4th time , we fill so at home, we took both our moms for xmas about 2 years ago and they as well enjoy it, and have ask if we could take them back:O)because they just love it and got good rest. it's like home away from home . and it's nice to know that we can just pack our cloths and go because this place has ever thing you'll ever need and is soooooo clean .lots of movies,and lots of fun beach items.it is a nice 2 level house just like at home .it's the most home filling beach house I have ever stay in. and the people we rent from are the nicest to have to deal with.So my advice to you is before you go looking any further,STOP here and give this beach house a try . YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID .

What a nice home to celebrate 3 December birthdays ! This house is very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bedrooms. The new beds and linens in the bedrooms are comfort plus to say the least. Dinning and living room area is large and comfortable. The view of the Pacific Ocean, from inside the house or out on the large deck, is Fantastic !!! And with only a short easy walk you are on the beach. This house is a very special find and we look forward to our next stay.

We really like the house. Separation for kids and adults. Living area upstairs looking out on water. Nice hot tub. Short walk to gorgeous beach. Great for the cost.

Another Fantastic Time At the Anchor House!!

My family has been going to the anchor house the last three or four years for our summer vacation and each time have had a wonderful time! The house is large enough to accomodate our family and/or friends and we have had up to 4 generations stay at one time. My granddaughter came again this year and at 15 months feel in love with the beach located just a short walk from the house. The view from the living room and front deck is fantastic. This year we even saw a couple of deer grazing in the next door neighbor's yard! It's peaceful and always a fantastic time when we stay here. I would recommend it to more people only I'm afraid that the secret will get out and I won't be able to get on the calendar again! Seriously, best deal in Lincoln City. Ken, the owner, is a great guy who is so easy to work with.

This is a fantastic vacation/rental home! It is very clean, well maintained, well stocked and has a great layout for larger groups. The beach access is just a few minute walk away. We loved that we could play at the beach and easily run back to the house for lunch or a bathroom break! The views are great and the deck provides additional living space that the kids loved to play on. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone! The listing is very accurate in regards to the location, layout and amenities. The owner, Ken, is very easy to work with and provided excellent customer service.

Fantastic vacation had by all.

This home was perfect for our first official family vacation. We had our 2 daughters, son in law and 3 grandchildren and the family rooms on the bottom floor where just perfect for all of them for sleeping and napping for the kids. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. The beach access was very easy to get to, one had about 10 to 15 steps to go down the other was an easy incline. The weather was perfect and lots of fireworks to watch from the huge deck. I highly recommend this home.

We liked this house so much we are heading back in 2013. Girls weekend was great at this house. Plenty of room for all, fantastic relaxing hot tub, great location and was so comfortable and well stocked. Owners were great to work with so we'll be going again soon.

Great Girls Weekend House

Lincoln City is always a favorite place, but this house added to the fun. Everything was great, clean and stocked. The only thing was that the hide-a-bed in the lower room had a note on it that it was broken "do not use" luckily we had a person cancel at the last minute so didn't really need it. Location is Fantastic! and price is right! Hot Tub really made the stay so enjoyable on those misty, rainy days. Thanks Ken, the Girls from Bend will be back!

Everything about this place was wonderful. House is well equipped with everything you would have in your own home. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The beds are super comfy. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are friendly. The price is right. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The "Tired Dad's" Getaway House!

5 years ago, a group of guys got together and decided that we needed to get away for a long weekend; hence "The Tired Dad's" was formed. Our first get together was at a rental in Manzanita. We all hopped into a car and headed to Lincoln City to hit the casino. That was our last year staying in Manzanita. I found the house at Road's End in Lincoln City and we have been coming back each year since! The house is huge with 8 beds, 2 television areas, a massive deck, super clean and well taken care of hot tub and very close location to the beach and casino. We have never found the house lacking in anything that we needed to make meals, play cards, watch movies or just relax... It's also the best value for our money that I have found in the area! We have a standing reservation for every April.

Just the two of us...so way more house than we need. But we are already planning our next stay here! Clean, neat, in good repair (which isn't easy at the beach and with what looks like from the calendar non stop renters!), and lovely view. There just isn't anything but positives to say! Love it!

We have been staying at The Anchor at Roads End for several years now. It is an extremely comfortable home and a great place to relax. The layout works well for us, and the kitchen/dining area are perfect for helping us eat in and save the money on dining out. The sleeping arrangements are comfortable, and the other amenities are excellent. I highly recommend this home as a top place to stay in Lincoln City!

Very clean, well equipped, located near other attractions. The only draw back were the steps to the main floor. I would place a light at the bottom of the steps as the light at the top fails to provide good light near the bottom. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Bill Hamilton

Great oceanview from the entire upstairs. Home is extremely well cared for very clean ,fresh,and nice. Great layout for just about everyone. Lots of spaces to escape to. Three big flat screen TV's. Ample quiet space to be by yourself and read a book. Just sit and watch the waves crash on the beach. Great white water view. Beach acesses are a short walk away. Tide pools at Casacde Head are awesome . Way better than Newport. House is well supplied with everything you need. The Hot tub is awesome ! We'll be back. Emily M Portland,Oregon

This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at the beach house and every time has just been great. Got better weather then we were expecting. Made for a nice walk on the beach. Awesome huge white water waves were thrilling. The hot tub was great. Deer walking through the neighbor hood in the evening. Short walk to beach access Shops and the Casino nearby. Great Oceanview Beach house. The beach house is clean,fresh,and nice .Extremely well stocked and equipped with just about everything . The house layout is really good with most of the bedrooms downstairs. One bedroom upstairs near the coffee pot for the early risers. Full bank of big picture windows provides a spectacular view of beach and miles of coast line from upstairs .The huge cedar deck is a nice escape. Relaxing Hot tub even has a good to great white water oceanview depending on the tide. .Walking distance from stores restaurants. and casino is a nice feature. You walk a very short distance to the beach acess and miles of sandy beaches. I highly recommend this beach house for all seasons ,vacations ,and get-aways.We'll definitely be back.

This is an amazing beach house with a Terrific White water oceanview. . The house is clean ,bright, nice,and well kept. Very well equipped . The beds are all super comfortable pillowtop mattresses. Never slept so good on the road in all my life. The house has a very warm feel and atmosphere. Just feels like you are home. Two beach accesses are a short block way. There is something for everyone. nearby shopping,restaurants,three big screen TV's. Fireplace ,and miles of sandy beach.Big cedar deck to relax on. Hotub sitting right in the oceanview. We had the best time staying at this lovely beach home. We must of lost at least ten pounds going up and down with our dogs. The weather was perfect it was sunny six out of seven days. Thank you Ken , you will hear from us again. I recommend this place to everyone we know.

This was our second time staying at this home and it was a great time once again. Came in on Christmas night and was delighted to see some cozy upgrades to the dining and family room areas. This home is absolutely perfect for two families or a few couples. We had stormy weather and it was so much fun sitting in the hot tub with the wind and rain hitting us in the face. A short drive down to Depoe Bay during the storm was amazing to watch the spouting horn. So much fun -- we'll definitely be back. This house is set up with everything you could possibly need. Good job Ken!

Holiday at the Beach

This was the perfect place to stay for 4 days. The house had all the amentities that you would need. The view from the kitchen while cooking up dinner is fabulous. You can also see the beach from the hot tub. The houses is large enough for the kids to have more than one place to hang out and not get bored. The many tv's are helpful too. We had a great time and would definately go back!

WOW! What a wonderful place....just what the Doctor Ordered for a complete stress free get away....The Hot Tub was fantastic--My bones haven't felt so good since I left Florida 3 yrs ago....The House was spotlessly clean and the beds were top of the line for comfort....I have owned a cleaning service for 30+yrs and this is the first time I was able to just sit back and enjoy my surroundings due to how clean everything was kept. My girlfriend from Kentucky was spell bound by our beautiful ocean. I plan to come back in the summer with my children & grandchildren from Texas. I recommend this rental home but the Owner "Ken" was the final sale-- he was great to deal with,friendly, helpful, and very kind. Made us feel welcome from the start. The Wujcik's had an amazing time here.My Mom and Dad came to visit us all the way out from South Bend,IN.. First time my parents have been on a plane in 28 years. The Pacific NW was a beautiful new world to them. They were overjoyed when we arrived in Lincoln City and saw how close your beach house was to the ocean. Every sunset was perfect and we will treasure these memories for a lifetime.My parents told me they guarantee another 28 years won't pass until the next they get on a plane. Thanks so much !

We spent Thanksgiving at this most relaxing home! We had a wonderful time and felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The house is stocked with everything you would need and more. Ken (the owner) went above and beyond in communication before our trip. There had been a storm before our arrival and Hwy 18 was closed. Ken emailed the night before and called the morning we were leaving with updates and detour routs. We so appreciated his thoughtfulness. We will return.

We had a wonderful stay at this Lincoln City beach house; our family of 8 found it spacious and comfortable. The weather was windy and rainy, but we were warm and comfortable inside. We were entertained watching the lightning storm, and when it was over we appreciated the selection of family games and movies to keep us occupied while walks on the beach not feasible. The big screen tv's were a very nice amenity. We definitely recommend this lovely home to others.

First off - booking this was super great! Ken is so helpful and attentive. We had a fantastic and relaxing weekend in this home. Beds were comfy. Loved the wildlife that surrounded us ~ Many (and I mean MANY) deer just walking around at night. Plus we had a family of racoons come up to the sliding door for a visit. This rental was perfect for our family of 8. We have children from a few months to 13 years. We loved it. The beach was a very short walk and very beautiful. We loved the beach, the things to do nearby (shopping, aquatic center), and the hot tub! The house had everything you need and so glad for the washer and dryer. Everything gets wet and sandy at the beach. The beds were so comfortable. We all slept wonderful. We are hoping to do this again. Thanks!

Awesome Beach House

I took my two teens and their friends for a quick getaway before school started and we had a Great time. The house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. Our pug loves the beach and renting a place that is animal friendly was a big plus! Having the beach access only a couple of blocks away and the stores and Casino right down the road was also a big plus, as was having a hot tub. The weather was perfect and the views from the house were amazing! This was a spur of the moment getaway and Ken was awesome in helping us with renting and suggestions for things to do in town. We can't wait to go back!

This house was so homey and family friendly. We sat down and just sighed to be relaxing and having no worry. The perfect get away with the large porch to feed the kids on, the jaccuzi was a great treat and the beach was spetacular. The sunsets were breath taking. We had a great stay and the older kids and the grandkids want to do it again next year. comfortable and relaxing.

I and my family and friends have stayed at this home a couple of times now with the most recent being in August 2011. We had a small family reunion here with 4 generations attending the youngest being my 4 month old granddaughter. (and our family dog) We love this place for many reasons not the least of which is the view from the deck, short walk to the beach, large accomodations and let's not forget...the hot tub! It's like being home at the beach. Plenty of room for sleeping and gathering. We are already planning our next visit for next summer!

We love this home and the quiet Road's End area its in. We felt completely comfortable from the start. Getting the kids to the sand was easy and they even provided sand toys, beach chairs, and an umbrella for us! We walked to Cascade Head to check-out the tide pools (definitely worth it-better than Newport). This house has everything we look for in a beach house. Thanks Ken! Can't wait to go back!!

We were there in july of this year and we had a great time it was one of the most relaxing times we have had. The house was very inviting and comfortable, easy beach access and great views. We had enough room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. We will definately be back next summer if not before.

Our family has stayed at this home several different times. It is very comfortable for a large family and is large enough for the kids to feel they have their own space to visit. The view from the living room is great. If it's too cold to be outside you can look out the picture windows. My favorite is being able to sit in the hot tub and look out at the ocean. It is an easy walk to the beach. The home is well maintained, always clean and close to shopping . Thanks a lot for sharing your home and I am sure we wil be back. We feel this home is a fair price and much better than staying in a motel.

What a fabulous beach house. We enjoyed a weekend of sand,surf and Hot Tubing. Took a stroll down the beach to have dinner and a few drinks at the Chinook Winds Casino. Listened to some fun music . The house is in nice quiet neighborhood. Fabulous White water Oceanview from the whole upper level in the house,on deck and in the Hot Tub. Beach access is only short block away. The house had everything we wanted and more. Lots of room to spread out and then some. Just a really clean ,warm,and cozy place with everything you could want in a beach house all rolled into one property.We'll defintely be back. PS. Almost forgot. The moma deer and twin fawns walking though the neighborhood every night at dusk was absolutly amazing

The "Tired Dad's" Getaway Weekends

The "Tired Dad's" group is made up of 6 guys from all over the Portland Metro area. We have been doing our annual getaways for 3 years now. Two of the last 3 have been at The Roads End beach house. The house is amazing! Lots of room, wide open views of the ocean and just an atmosphere that says- relax! We always arrive on a Thursday afternoon and spend the first evening just relaxing in the hot tub after having dinner at some local restaurant. Friday is golf day and then the "All you can eat seafood buffet" at the Casino, which is just down the road. Saturday is whatever people want to do; walking the beach, shopping, movies all day (yes, we have watched movies all day) and then we all pitch in to make a great dinner. Sunday always comes too soon and we have to pack up and return to our real lives. I'm not sure what else to say, the house and the owners are great! We will continue to have our "Tired Dad's" weekends at this place. We couldn't ask for a more comfortable and relaxing plact to stay at the beach.

Had an excellent time on Spring Break last year and are returning around the holidays for another quick stay. Plenty of room for a large group and two family room areas are great with teenagers. Loved the view from the hot tub on a sunny day -- absolute heaven!!! Kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need for making buffet style dinner on the large counter. Thanks Ken for being so easy to work with!

I love this house. It is comfortable, clean, and has a very short walk to the beach. My girlfriends and I have been going to this great beach house for the last 3 years and we have rented it for our families as well. I don't have a negative thing to say about it......only that I am afraid it will be rented when we need it! Ken is always easy going and makes renting the beach house easy! I would(and HAVE!)recommended this beach house to family and friends. Plus it has always been very affordable!! I will always be grateful that we found this beach house in Lincoln city!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating great-grandma's birthday at the Roads End beach house! We had 9 adults, 1 toddler, 2 babies and a dog for a long weekend last Fall. There were plenty of bedrooms and sleeper couches to accommodate the whole family. The toddler (and mom & dad too) enjoyed the fact that there was a whole closet FULL of toys for her to play with. We found the kitchen to have all the necessities and enjoyed trading off chef responsibilities for the weekend! The large deck would be perfect for lounging on, had it not rained the entire weekend! We did, however, still manage to use the hot tub every single night. This Fall we stayed at this owners other beach house rental, the NW Jetty beach house. This home was just as comfortable & relaxing. We look forward to making this a family tradition and plan to stay at this home for many years to come!

This is a wonderful spacious beach home with graet ocean views from the livingroom as well as the large deck. The hot tub is great to soak in after a day at the beach. We loved the layout of the house as it was great for our large family with a nice family room for the kids to play in as well as a TV and DVD player for the kids to watch thier shows.The kitchen was equiped well for cooking and had plenty of seating for meal times. Rooms are large with cozy beds. We loved how close this was to the beach as well as stores. Chinook Winds Casino is close by for a evening out. The owner Ken is very friendly and great to deal with. We look forward to making this home one of our beach get away destinations Lisa Nason-Revels Portland Oregon
