We stayed four nights at this condo and found it very spacious for four adults. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of laundry supplies and extra linens, and the treasure trove of beach gear was really a bonus! It was very clean when we arrived and Susan checked in to make sure things were to our liking. We've already referred friends to your great vacation rental!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The accomadations described were accurate. The unit was very clean, and when we had a couple issues, the manager/owner was prompt in fixing them. We tried to go in the pool, but the water is not heated and therefore not very inviting in February. The unit was across the road from a nice beach area, although one of the travel guides said not to swim in the water until you pass the main town area of Kihei-as the water is cleaner the more south you go. But if you have a car, you can drive to excellent beaches south of Kihei. The new highway that takes you south is faster then going through Kihei, with all the pedestrians and slow traffic. We mainly cooked our own meals-which is why we wanted this unit. Costco was our first stop on the island. I loved having the washer/dryer in the unit!! I loved the bath towels, they were a good, thick absorbency....but I would suggest more hooks for hanging the towels in the bathroom. We had 6 people staying in the unit and we were not able to keep all of our towels in the bathroom because it was impossible to keep straight whose towel was whose, and they would not dry properly on the towel rack provided. I also thought a better quality shower rug, toilet contour rug, and bathroom sink rug would have added a tiny bit of luxury, as well as keeping the floors from getting so wet (from 6 people showering in one bathroom). Also an additional hook as you come in the front door to keep the keys (unit rental key,car rental key etc) would be helpful . Yes, we would rent this property again, and I would recommend it to others!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Very clean on the inside, ocean view from the balcony! Ocean view really made the visit enjoying coffee and the view! Perfection!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay in Kihei Holiday. The one negative review we read about here must have been a mistake. The condo was very clean and well maintained. All appliances and electronics worked perfectly. A quick walk across the street had us on a beautiful beach & snorkeling with tropical fish. The location is also right next to a really good Sushi/Korean BBQ restaurant. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer, we'll definitely be back soon!Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had such a wonderful time here at this condo! I was a little worry about this trip because we have a 15 months baby with us because we weren't sure how he will adapt to new environment. Your condo was so beautiful, clean, homey, and best of all, so welcoming that my son feel right at home. As soon as we put him down, he walk around the place and smiling ears to ears. Because he has such a great time, we had a grat time. The beach is across the street which is a big hit for my son. Sweet yummy fruits from the farmer market. Restaurants right down the street. Everything and anything that our family needed was located around this awesome condo. One week was not enough and we were sad when it was time to go home. We hope to return Maui soon, and when we do, we will definitely stay at this place again. Thank you for making our son first trip so wonderful....Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Susan, We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your Condo at Kihei Holiday. The unit was very clean and so comfortable. It was so great to have an umbrella, cooler, beach chairs and towels and boogie boards to take with us to the beach that was just steps away. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and we slept quite well after long days at the beach. One of the best things is that it had a washer and dryer, which is great when you have wet swim suits everyday! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and we were thrilled that you even had board games and movies for our daughter to enjoy. We would recommend this condo to everyone, especially a small family. It has a wonderful view of Sugar Beach and a great lanai to watch the sunset. Thank you again! Condo in a great location across from the beach and a view of the ocean from the lanai. The Condo is central to everything Maui has to offer. The kids enjoyed boogie boarding on the boards provided as well as amenities such as beach towels and washer/dryer a were great bonus. Cozy beds to sleep in after busy days on the island was very nice as well. The pool area is great also providing BBQ's to cook your meals on while the kiddies are swimming in the sun. A parking spot for when we rented a car was also a nice feature that this condo provided. Very easy to contact the owner when needing anything during your stay.Recommended for: Families with young children

After having stayed two weeks in this condo in March, we have a few comments in regard to the VRBO writeup, and to the condo's general condition. There is nothing exquisite, high end or remodeled with this condo. The front door screen is torn and ratty, the appliances are old (but serviceable), and the pendant light in the kitchen was falling down. The beds are uncomfortable, and the bed linens are worn. It was relatively clean, with the exception of the never ending stream of ants in the kitchen and bathroom. The air conditioners, while serviceable, are loud. We enjoyed its location, as well as the few residents we met. As it has a combination of renters and full time residents, most units which are well kept, but a few are in appalling condition. Lastly, we didn't appreciate having to pay a cleaning fee, on top of being told we need to wash and dry all linens and towels before check out, which is at 11am. This condo was a home away from home. It was very comfortable/clean, had a fully equiped kitchen, view of the water to whale watch, and was supplied with beach chairs/towels/body boards. The property was quiet and we rarely had to share the hot tub or pool. The owner was easy to contact and quick with email responses. What can I say... this condo is terrific! With all the amenities, including full kitchen, comfortable beds, a cozy lanai, and the best parking spot in the complex, it's a perfect fit for a family of four or two adventurous couples. Located just down the road from downtown Kihei, the condo sits across the street from a beautiful and quiet beach. After your morning coffee, hit the beach and head north for a serene walk to kick off your day. Renting a car is a must as the condo's location makes it easy to get to all the great spots on the west side of the island, from Wailea to Ka'anapali. Recreational opportunities are around every corner, with snorkeling, shopping, plenty of golf courses, and a short trek to the top of Haleakala (10,000 feet above sea level). If you're looking for a mix of fun and tranquility, this destination should be at the top of your list. Aloha!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

Our stay at Kihei Holiday was excellent. The condo is really nice and very quiet. The unit was perfectly clean and all the amenities were perfect. The beds were super comfortable - after really fun days exploring Maui, we slept great. In my opinion, the location is absolutely perfect - easy access to all the beautiful beaches in South Maui - a quick 8 mile drive to Kahului, a bit longer ride to Lahaina - just perfect! Kihei Holiday condo was amazing! It felt like home as soon as we walked in. We enjoyed seeing our personal view of the ocean in our PJs. It is so peaceful. Susan went above and beyond for our stay. My 2 grandchild came with us and she made sure that there was a beach pail and shove just for them. It was one of the first things that my grandson asked to see. For beachgoers we walked 3 minutes and we were on sugar beach and many times all by ourselves. All our shopping needs were right there in Kihei. Lots of wonderful local produce! The condo was perfectly furnished and had every amenity that we needed. The washer and dryer was the most used appliance in our stay and was so convenient and the soap was provided. The private swimming pool was fantastic. We would bring our dinner down to the BBQ and enjoy cooling off by swimming while our dinner was cooking. Everything is just as it was described in the listing. I would recommend this condo to any of my family or friends. I recently stayed at this condo for 5 days. The location is great, very convenient to all of the local attractions and the ocean is literally across the street! The weather was in the mid 80s when we stayed there and the condo remained cool and comfortable indoors. Decor is new and fresh. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends/family and will definitely consider staying here again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wonderful condo and great price for what you get! Clean and stocked with everything we needed. We love the location, which is across the street from sandy beach. Centrally located on the island to West Maui, Shops of Wailea, Golf, Restaurants, Beaches, and Kihei. Enjoyed the pool and nice to have washer and dryer right in the unit. I have been to Maui 35 times and this is by-far my favorite location. The location is perfect for any and everything you want to do on the Island. The beach in front of the condo is perfect, so close and perfect for walking the beach every morning to playing and laying in the sun all day :) the Condo is really clean, organized, and has everything for the whole family and the beach. I love that there is a washer and dryer in the unit ! The instructions say to turn off all air conditioners and fans while you are gone all day. and I was pleasantly surprised how cool the unit stayed all day until we returned. (nice) I will definitely be returning !!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
