It's close to the Hilton's dolphin pool & Kings Shops. Our child-friendly villa is only a stone’s throw from the Waterfall Pool & Lava Rock Jacuzzi & steps away from the Fitness Center & Tennis Courts. Created in 2006, our 2 story non-smoking luxury town home offers a spacious living room w/19' ceilings, fully equipped gourmet kitchen w/granite counter tops, 3 uniquely furnished upstairs bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, upgraded carpets, custom paint & an array of indigenous art & Asian antiques. Our designer appointed home has a kitchen/dining room/workspace that overlooks, & connects to a stunning- yet comfy- living room & furnished lanai. Our Chinese, silken master bedroom has a balcony where you can languish in the many Kohala Coast views including the Pacific Ocean, Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea & the Kohala Mountains
The master bedroom has elegant Chinese decor. The king bed has the highest quality mattress, sheets & pillows w/ a luxurious silk comforter & matching pillow cases. Above the bed is a 4 paneled painting from China. The dresser & armoire are authentic Chinese lacquered & gold hand-painted pieces. The room has a spacious walk-in closet. Enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV with DVD player or relax on the lanai, taking in the many views. Our lanai is touted to be the best location in the resort for viewing the beach resorts' fireworks. The queen bedroom has a more Japanese flavor. The top quality mattress sits in a rosewood and mahogany bed which is adjacent to its matching side table and is framed by a thatched bamboo wall covering. The third bedroom has a Hawaiian Tommy Bahama flair: solid wicker day-bed & chest of drawers & an antique Asian dresser. The 2 twin mattresses are also of the highest quality. Additionally, we have a comfy queen size AeroBed air mattress which auto inflates.
The master bathroom has a large shower separate from the bathtub, a long marble 2 sink counter top, and a closet filled with five star linens and towels. The second upstairs bathroom has a beautiful marble counter and a soaking tub. There is also a convenient entry half bath.

Experience the vast change when you leave the Kohala Coast, wonder past the pastures of Waimea, and then enter the 'wet' northeastern part of the Big Island - the Hamakua Coast – with spectacular views of its many waterfalls and lush valleys. This leads you to the most tropical and oldest town and port on the Big Island, and where many native Hawaiians still reside, Hilo. You may not want to miss the adventure of going to Volcanoes National Park where you can actually see the active volcano, Pele, and visit her unusual Lava Tubes and Steam Vents in Puna.

What a wonderful condo. We stayed there with our 3 young children and it was so child-friendly and comfortable we could have stayed much longer. There are videos for the kids, a pack-n-play for the babies, a ground level lanai for the adults to relax on and a beautifully decorated condo for everyone to enjoy. The condo is directly next to the tennis courts and across from the pool and close to some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. This unit was a good fit for our family of 5. Plenty of space, nicely decorated with an up to date kitchen that was easy to cook in. The beds were by far the most comfortable of our vacation, with quality mattresses and good linens. We also took advantage of the poolside gas grill (only about 100 feet from the patio). We felt very welcome-- there was cold water in the fridge, coffee for that first morning and fresh flowers when we arrived. It should be noted that nearby construction of new homes will soon block much of the view from the master bedroom lanai. Overall, Highly recommended.Did you find this review helpful? Great condo in an excellent location. Everything we needed was provided. Beautifully furnished, well maintained, super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this villa for a great vacation on the kohala coast! Stephen was quick to respond to our needs and looked after us well. The condo is just across the street from a lovely pool and just a 5 min drive from shopping and restaurants.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Spent a wonderful two weeks at this house recently. The pictures really don't convey how great this house is - we instantly felt comfortable and right at home. It is a great space to hang out and relax as a group. Very easy access to the pool and outdoor barbeque area. Plus some basic essentials for heading out to the beach everyday - towels, cooler, chairs, etc. This is our fifth trip to the Big Island so we knew the location of this house would be ideal for us. Waikaloa resort is great for exercising - we got a run in every morning - and is pretty self contained with shops and restaurants. However, it is also a great location from which to explore our favorite parts of the island Kohalo Coast, Hawi, Waimea and Hilo. We were two couples who stayed here for 5 nights. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided by the owner. From beach gear to kitchen supplies & nice linens, no detail was left untouched! The owner was more than accommodating and easy to reach. We loved that the pool was directly across the street from our villa. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here 5/19 to 5/26/11. The space was great, large kitchen, large living space, we had 2 families with 4 small kids(8 people) and it worked great. The pool/fitness room is right across the street and the tennis court is right across the driveway. I loved that the owners stock alot of items so you don't have to travel with it, like: beach towels and mats, water floaties, boogie boards, some snorkel gear, tennis rackets, kitchen condiments, even bug spray. We had a great relaxing stay! The unit is very quiet also.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Hats off to Stephen, the owner of this unit, for his excellent customer service and flexibility in accommodating our initially-uncertain travel schedule. This condo was everything we'd hoped for and more. It was exactly as shown in the photos, and was equipped with all the amenities we needed and in good working order. It was immaculately clean and ready for our use upon arrival. We were delighted to have wireless internet and wireless printer in the unit and at the ready. All the beds were very comfortable, and the entire complex is situated in a quiet location, for a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the Big Island. Both on-site pools are beautiful and relaxing, and one is just across the driveway. The staff here was very friendly, always greeting us with a smile and warm "Aloha". I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for excellent value, conveniently located near all the North Kona and Kohala beaches and facilities. This location cuts 30 minutes off any travel between Kona and the Hilo side of the island. During our stay, this was the Big Island's optimal location for that week's weather, which was mostly sunny at Waikoloa but generally rainy everywhere else, including Kailua-Kona, which is unusual. If tennis is your game, this condo is the place to stay, with an excellent court just a few steps from your door! If you dive or snorkel, be sure to check out one of the top-rated nighttime manta snorkel & dive charters at Kona. We watched 10-20 mantas up close and personal, and really came away with awe and new appreciation for these massive and graceful creatures, as they fed on plankton just off the Kona coastline. This was a highlight of our trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was a spectacular vacation for working fiends like us. Your villa made it that way. It is beautifully and imaginatively decorated and extremely comfortable to live in. The bed in master lanai was like heaven. The villa was an interesting combination of being upscale, yet feeling "like home". And no hotel smells!! Also being so centrally located, it was 5 minutes to the beach, great restaurants, and a short drive to other parts of the island -- and no traffic. We sat out on the patio every night and enjoyed the quietude, the bug-less night air and those great Hawaiian breezes. Home again and re-fueled, we are strongly considering returning to your place, next time. Thank your for making our vacation a real vacation.Did you find this review helpful? I stayed with a family group that included 4 adults and 1 child. The condo was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the master bedroom was particularly spacious and gorgeous. The walk to the swimming pool (which has an amazing jacuzzi) was very quick. And, the overal location (quick drive to many of our favorite Kohala beaches and easy reach to Kona) makes this a particularly appealing location.Did you find this review helpful? My wife and I and our baby boy stayed for nearly a week, and had a fabulous time. The accomodation is spacious and luxurious, and the gated resort community is peacefu and serene, yet with plenty of activities onsite and nearby.
