About the owner: We are empty nesters who enjoy time with each other, family and friends. We love living in BC, where we can enjoy temperate weather most of the year, while gardening (her), attending car shows (him), and a host of other activities.
Why the Owner Chose Abbotsford:
We had an experience with a family member in another province that inspired opening Adagio guest house so close to the hospital and Cancer Centre. During the critical illness of this family member, we found that a motel just didn't work well for us. We wanted privacy and the ability to cook our own meals and eat together as an extended group, which changed over the ten days we were there. We needed a quiet place to let children nap, and we would have liked to be able to walk to the hospital instead of shuttling people with vehicles. We would have benefited from a relaxing home to come to where we could unwind and feel pampered by our surroundings.
Whether people stay because they are tourists, they're in town for sports events or they need to be near a loved one at the hospital or cancer Centre, we want them to feel like this is home while they're away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It's a very short walk to Mill Lake, where parents can let their children play at one or all three playgrounds, or the water park, or swim in the outdoor pool in summer. A walk around the trails of Mill Lake calm the soul and clear the mind.
If you're looking to shop, there are several malls within a five minute drive or a fifteen minute walk.
