This fully equipped apartment is a five minute walk from the charonne metro station on line 9. It is located at the 5th level (sixth American) of a recent 6 floors building ( late 1990s) and the full renovation was completed in the summer 2011. The apartment comes with a parking spot which is located on the - 2 level and which is directly accessible from the apartment with the elevator. The elevator is large and reliable.
The apartment is very airy ( 90 square meters or a little more than 900 square feet), has a lot of windows, facing east and west, it offers a large living room where you can have dinner and/or relax comfortably for eight people. there is a large tv screen with international channels. The kitchen nearby is fully equipped and well stocked with a fridge, freezer, microwave and traditional oven, dishwasher, washer, drier. There is a small table there where four people can sit.
Then you enter in the sleeping area. On your left side, there is a toilet, then the first bedroom with a queen size bed and equipped with an ensuite bathroom (large massage shower) opens to a balcony with table and chairs. Then at the end two bedrooms and another full bathroom (bath tub + shower+toilet). Each of these two bedrooms is equipped with twin beds but these can be transformed in queen size beds. One of the bedrooms opens to another balcony.
The living room is equipped with a sofa bed which transforms into a confortable queen size bed.
There are plenty of closets and the apartment comes with free phone to 100 countries including North America and Australia, free WI-Fi, free cable TV. All windows close with rolling shutters and therefore all rooms can offer complete darkness.
The all-inclusive weekly rental fee covers quality linens and towels, and one cleaning.
The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than five minutes) to the metro station Charonne on line 9. This takes you directly to Republique ( 3 metro stops), the grands boulevards, the opera, the champs elysees, the eiffel tower, and even Rolland Garros, the French Open stadium. From Republique which is a main metro hub with direct access to line 3, 5, 8,9 and 11 you can basically go anywhere in paris directly with no metro change.
The building is located on the rue de charonne but the apartment looks out on one side on a dead end street and gardens and on the other side a quiet small street ( rue de la petite pierre) so you hardly hear any street noise from the apartment. The access of the building is very secure with codes, fabs and buzzer.
There is a supermarket across the street and there are a number of cafes and restaurants nearby. Rue de charonne is a trendy district which leads directly to the bastille area.

We booked this apartment after deciding to visit London and Paris during spring break. Our group consisted of 6 - my husband and myself, our three teens, and my mother. We decided to rent an apartment for the size and price after learning what hotel rooms would cost, and we looked at our options carefully. For the prize and size, this apartment can not be beat. By comparison, our rental in London the 5 days prior to our arrival in Paris was 600 sq feet - the apartment in Paris felt like a grand mansion! It was large and airy, and in a safe neighborhood close to the metro. We arrived from Gare du Nord and found the apartment quick and easy to get to. Olivier met us out front and took the time to show us how to work things (including the washer) and made recommendations for shopping and food. The apartment was dow a quiet street and walking distance to delightful restaurants (we at two), bakeries (dessert every night!) and even something we didn't expect...Père Lachaise Cemetery! It was a lovely and short walk and we enjoyed strolling around. The apartment was extremely clean (and I'm picky!) and offered anything we could have asked for or wanted including extra pillows and blankets, plenty of linens, safety and security, wi-fi, TV, etc. The well stocked kitchen enabled us to purchase a few tihngs at the store to hand on hand, and the space allowed all 6 of us to enjoy some privacy. Two showers + 6 people meant we used a lot of hot water and Olivier helped us to ensure the hot water kept coming, even with the constant showers! We found the apartment to be exactly as it was represented in the photos. With the windows open, it was still quiet due to the location and we found ourself enjoy the two balconies quite a bit. At the end of long day of sightseeing, it was great to have this apartment to return to and feel as if we were at "home". I would stay here again if my travels allow me to return to Paris, without a doubt! Thank you to Olivier for making our stay in Paris both effortless and a wonderful time we'll not soon forget!

We had a nice stay in Paris. The apartment is big and comfotable.There are a lot of shops and supermarkets nearby. Two metro stations are near the apartment'it's easy to go everywhere.

We are coming very often to Paris and this time being a big family, we decided to look for a short term appartment. The choice was to rent this big apartment because of it's location (10 min walk from Bastille area , the number of rooms and the parking facilities included in the rent. The apartment was very clean and the owner representative was flexible in the meeting hour. We recommend this apartment to family of more than 4 persons. Each one can find his corner. Metro is just 2 min distance and bus 76 is across the street and will take you to Chatelet at no time.. The AGAM family
