My in town home is one block off Main Street and is within easy walking distance to the Breck Connect Gondola. (even in ski boots) This is probably one of its nicest features. Once you arrive here, driving really doesn't have to happen. Even the grocery store is right around the corner. You could get by easily with no car if you stay here.
Bonus Feature: I am part owner in a ski and bike shop and will provide any tenants gear at deeply discounted rates.
Sleeps 6-7
My house has three bedrooms, two on the top floor, and one on the floor below the kitchen-living room. The current arrangement is as follows; one king and one queen upstairs, the downstairs bedroom has a twin-double bunk bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower.
The main floor has a full kitchen, computer area/work desk, a 42 inch flat screen with surround sound, cable and hi def channels. A computer is provided as well as wifi access.
There is deck off the kitchen with tremendous views of Peak 8, the ski area, and the Ten Mile Range.
There is parking for two vehicles, one inside my garage, and the other in the driveway. (parking is also available on the French Street side, front door)
My home is technically part of a duplex, but feels like a single family home. My part of the building is the one pictured which has two upstairs bedrooms and one under the kitchen. The garage is on the ally behind my building (between French and Main). There is a mud room there for taking off and storing your equipment. Much like a basement area. This is the section of my home which is under my neighbors. We share the garage. His house attached to the back, and below my section. The overall building is on a hill, putting his unit on the ally and below mine. Its rather unique, but except for the shared garage, my house feels like a stand alone unit.
My house is available for rental at any time during the year.
I'm in the process of taking more pictures. I have recently purchased a blu ray player for the unit which allows for netflix streaming.
Sorry, I do not accept long term/seasonal rentals.

Great house in Breckenridge
Great house in Breckenridge

This property is very nice, completely equipped and the location can't be beat. The layout works well, beds are great and views are wonderful of the ski area. The location one block off main street is what we wanted because everything is within easy walking distance. The owner lives in Breckenridge, knows the area very well and was most helpful suggesting snowshoe trails. I hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: I have been living and working in Summit County for 20+ years. I love it here. I am the owner of two local businesses which have been operating over ten years in town. I live, eat, sleep, and play here and plan on staying here the rest of my life.
Why the Owner Chose French Ridge:
I never set out with the intention of purchasing a vacation rental. Since I have moved to Breckenridge, I have always insisted on living in town. I love being able to go weeks with out driving my car. This location is optimal if you are on a ski vacation and want to stay in town verses up on Peak 8 or out in Blue River. Everything is within walking distance to my house, this is why I bought it.
I have remodeled another home in town, and often stay there, allowing me the flexibility to rent this house out . I believe my home was originaly built with vacation rentals in mind, and its location is hard to beat.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Besides all the benefits of being one block off of Main St, in the heart of Breckenridge, and the ease of getting up the gondola and skiing, my house comes with another perk: Discount Rental Equipment year round.
I am a partner with a couple of my close friends and own two Ski/Snowboard/Bike rental shops, one of which is directly across Main St.
Visitors to my home will receive 25% off all rentals with no advance reservation required. If enough information is provided, I will pre set your equipment, and it will be waiting for you down stairs when you arrive.
Equipment which is available to rent include: Skis, Snowboards, Snow Shoes, XC Equipment, Road Bikes, Full Suspension Mountain Bikes, Down Hill Bikes, and Bicycles to ride around town.
