  Thanks again Paula for being so attentive to our needs. A private garage, a wonderful pool within walking distance, and good security. Gulfport, Biloxi had great shows and restaurants. Certain minor adjustments would make it a really excellant find but we can be critical and for the price it was well worth it.

  We stayed at this Villa in mid-July. Paula was very easy to deal with when asking questions about the Villa and scheduling our vacation. She responded immediately to my request for information and was so quick that we got all of the information about the property and scheduled our vacation before anyone from the other half dozen inquiries I made replied on their units. When we arrived, the Villa was clean and nice furnishings. It is a full size, one bedroom apartment and the whole complex is pet friendly. We brought our dog with us and there are places to walk the dog. If you wanted to, you could eat all your meals in the full kitchen. There is a washer and dryer in the unit as well, so you can wash your swimsuits and towels each day. The pool and tot yard were right outside the unit, and it is a 5 minute walk to the beach. This is not a 5 star Villa, but it is a very nice, modern and clean unit that is a much better value than most of the hotels in the area. The only negative, which is not any fault of the owner is that the train tracks run right behind the unit, about 75 yards away. We liked it so much we will be back next year.

  After seeing the pictures posted on this place we were excited to stay here. I have to say the pictures are accurate, what you see is what you get. We found the place to be clean, nicely furnished, and we were extremely impressed with the kitchen. Utensils, pots and pans, plates, silverware and even many spices were available for our use. The TV's were small, but we were not on vacation to watch television. I do agree that the train was loud and took some getting used to. Having a private garage for the car was a bonus. In the complex, this unit was one of the farthest away from the beach, but we did not mind the short walk. That was a small price to pay to be able to look out at the pool or playground instead of looking into another unit while sitting on the balcony. It is located right across from the pool. Unfortunately while we were there all of the lounge cushions around the pool were sent out for repair and the hot tub heater was broken, so we did not spend time around the pool. We enjoyed walking along the boardwalk, and would have liked to have bikes available for our use. We did notice some unit came with bikes. If you roller blade you may want to bring these. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. She was prompt in all correspondence with me. We would definitely stay there again.

  Complex was accessible to the beach and very good location to both Gulfport and Biloxi. Size of condo was very appropriate for 2 people. Condo is in the midst of some 'updating' as reported by the owner. Communication tools are on the low end as there is no internet connection and TVs are small and outdated. Bed was very comfortable and large walkin closet was nice in the bedroom. Kitchen was adequate and provided all needed utensils. Carpet in the complex is worn in places. Nice garage for storing bicycles and golf clubs. Condo is located next to a fairly busy train track and noise level from trains can be 'bothersome'.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers.

  I found this condo on my search for an extended stay vacation (2 weeks) after completing graduate school. While the furnishings were simple, for the price it was a great location. You are minutes from great restaurants on hwy. 90 in Gulfport and Ocean Springs. It has a FABULOUS saltwater pool (important for my friend who is in cancer remission) and playground right outside. My friends who came with children were really impressed. There is a train nearby but after the first night you don't even notice. It was clean for my stay. For the price, it was a great place to relax and I will probably stay there again soon!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

  We stayed here, we really enjoyed sitting on patio, looking out over huge pool. Close to everything. Short walk to ocean. The condo was nice and the owner was very helpful

  I rented this unit for one week in late September. Upon arrival, this is what we found. • there was no broom, mop or pail • the pillows in the master bedroom were worn and in dire need of replacement • there was only additional worn pillow for the sleeper sofa • the mattress on the sleeper sofa is worn and uncomfortable • the towels that were provided were not bath towels, but worn hand towels • the dvd player did not work • no internet connection • no instructions on where to deposit the trash • no suitable, safe seating on the balcony • there were dead water bugs in the linen closet; If the place had been recently cleaned, that should hot have been the case. Why am I paying a cleaning fee when the unit had not been cleaned properly prior to our checking in? After voicing my unhappiness with the condition of the unit, the owner suggested I find a different place to stay, which we immediately did. She promised to refund us all but one night, which was acceptable. We checked in Saturday and checked out Sunday and now the owner refuses to repay the full refund due. We are being charged a cleaning fee for a unit that had dead waterbugs in the closet. Exactly when was this unit last cleaned? The amenities listed in her ad, were not available. If you've made a reservation for this unit, I suggest you make alternate arrangements. The owner continues to ignore my phone calls, text messages and emails. Although the amount owed is not major ($200+), it is the principal of the matter. There are many beautiful condos and villas available in the Biloxi/Gulfport area, unfortunately this is not one of them.

  Owner response: This property is less than 10 years old. I purchased my Villa in 2005 and placed into Vacation Rentals in 2007. For the past two months I have been refurbishing. New bedding including comforter set, 300 thread count sheets and new mattress pad, new pots and pans were in place the first of September '11. New pillows, new sofa foam mattress pad for the sleeper sofa,towel sets, dvd player and new patio furniture were in place the first of October '11. I do not advertise internet connection inside my Villa. All amenities listed onsite are available. I have used the same cleaning company for the past 5 years and have never had a major complaint with their work. Any resonable request will be met. I always answer my text, email or phone messages promptly. I did answer the 16 text messages and several phone calls within a 24 hr period and did my best to accomadate my renter. After I was made aware from other Villa owners that my renter was inquiring about moving to a much more expensive Beachview, Tower Unit, I informed her that I would refund a prorated rent to her minus the two nights she stayed and minus the damage for a broken lamp from her security deposit. I do not refund cleaning fees after the Villa has been occupied. I do hope that any potential renter will take into consideration these facts. My Villa absolutely is not old, worn in dire need of repair and remodel. This is a beautiful property and my Villa is a well cared for, comfortable place to stay.
