Steps from the ocean and sound you will find Swinkels, a charming one family cottage with a reverse floor plan. The lower level features two bedrooms with queen size beds and one with bunkbeds, a full bath and laundry area with full size washer and dryer. On the upper level is a great room with fabulous panoramic views of Hatteras Island, a well stocked kitchen new additions include an over the oven microwave and a Keurig single cup coffee brewer. With breakfast bar, large dining table, living area and half bath. Living area also has a 40" flatpanel HD TV surround sound, DVD/VHS library and pull-out sleeper sofa with queen size bed.
Outside facing the ocean is a 8x24 foot deck excellent for sunbathing by day and stargazing at night. Soundside has a screened in porch with picnic table perfect for dining and watching those incredible Pamilco Sound sunsets. Off the screened in porch is a small cozy deck just right for couples.
Ground level has covered parking, enclosed shower with hot and cold water, fish cleaning table with water and BBQ area with decking and seating.

Really comfortable atmosphere, we enjoyed the reverse floor plan with great views from the living area above the bedrooms. We could see the ocean from one deck and the sound from another. The beach house was well equipped with nice appliances, lots of cookware and dishes, entertainment system, and even a movie collection to choose from. We brought our dog and he felt right at home too. Very clean and well kept. We look forward to returning next year.

VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION....NEAR LIGHTHOUSE...NEAR OCRACOKE FERRY....NEAR SOUND...NEAR SURF....LOVED IT. HOUSE IS COMFORTABLE AND EQUIPPED WITH ALL ESSENTIALS FOR A GREAT STAY. GREAT CRAB CAKES RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET AT QUARTERDECK RESTAURANT. NICE VIEWS!!! HOPE TO BE BACK SOON!
