  We go to Phoenix every year, and generally stay with family, but stay one or two nights at the Pointe Squaw Peak. This year, we decided to get our own place the whole time, and found this condo on VBRO. it was right next to the Point, was clean and well stocked. Parking was convenient, and the hosts were very responsive, and at 60 percent of the price for a room at the Pointe, it was a bargain. I will be staying there again next year.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  We live not far from this lovely condo. We had a flood at our home and had to find a home away from home for a month. We couldn't have picked a nicer nest. With all of the headaches of a rebuild, coming "home" to this cosy, quiet and peaceful condo was such a blessing. We had a special request of expanded cable package which the owners were gracious enough to handle for us. Dealing with the cable company was not easy, but they never complained and wanted to make sure we were happy. I will be checking on availability next time we have too many out of town guests to accommodate at our house. I know they would all enjoy staying at this very nice property.

  This was a great first time condo for me. Everything was as described in the profile. The area is quiet, close to a major highway and has everything close by you may need for your stay.

  This condo is in a terrific location, with easy access to the freeway and nearby hiking. Upon arrival, the property was clean and instructions for accessing the key were clear. It would be helpful to know in which building the condo is located. My primary comment is that the ceilings are quite low and anyone of a taller stature might find it a bit claustrophobic. There were also a few smaller issues, such as a leaky toilet valve, that required attention. A renter's manual with information about turning on/off water, shower hot/cold, etc.nearby amenities, would be very useful. Owner's were very good about replying to our emails.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

  Owner response: Happy you enjoyed your stay. The height of the ceilings are normal in this condo. Not sure how tall you are Dominika but most guests at 6' tall are quite comfortable. The plumbing issues are being addressed.

  Clean, well furnished condo, close to restaurants, hiking trails and bike rentals. Quiet pool area. Hate to give the secret away about this jewel in the desert!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.
